IndiGo, the award-winning low-fare domestic airline that is redefining airline quality standards in India, today announced the expansion of its route network, with the introduction of 4 new fights from 14th September, 2008 onwards. The new flights will operate between Pune and Chennai, with an onward connection to Kolkata. With the launch of these new services, IndiGo will operate 99 daily flights connecting 17 destinations. IndiGo will introduce non-stop round trip service between Pune and Chennai, as well as additional flights between Chennai and Kolkata and between Kolkata and Pune via Chennai. Speaking on the launch of new and additional services,Bruce Ashby, CEO, IndiGo,said, We are pleased to announce these services, which provide additional ways for our customers to travel across our route network.
Citizens of Nepal and Maldives are eligible for tax exemption/reduction, as per applicable laws, on the airfare. In order to avail such tax exemption/reduction, passengers must declare their correct nationality at the time of booking. In case citizens of Nepal or Maldives intend to travel with any foreign nationals, such citizen (passenger) are requested to kindly book tickets for accompanying foreign national (passengers) in a separate PNR/ticket. Once selected, the nationality cannot be changed at any point during the booking process.
