IndiGo, the award-winning low-fare domestic airline that is redefining airline quality standards in India, has announced the induction of yet another brand new Airbus-320 and with this induction, IndiGo will launch 6 new flights on its network.IndiGo will operate its 5th flight on Delhi to Kolkata to Delhi sector and 3rd non-stop flight on Kolkata to Bangalore to Kolkata sector. In addition, Kochi will be connected with Bangalore and Kolkata. The new flights will provide increased frequencies on the routes and offer greater travel options for its customers and will commence effective 04th June, 2010, The new services reinforce IndiGos leadership in the Indian skies, with its 176 flights connecting 22 destinations across the nation. Highlighting the importance of launching new sectors and additional flights,Mr. Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo,said, Bangalore-Kochi, and Kochi-Kolkata have emerged as sectors that have started attracting both leisure and business passengers in the recent past, and hold immense potential for IndiGo. We are also looking at providing affordable fares on these new routes for regular travelers. IndiGo is also reinforcing its commitment to on-time performance by announcing new frequencies from Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi, and Kochi.
