For the third year in a row, IndiGo has been recognised by ch-aviation as operating the world’s youngest aircraft fleet in the 100+ aircraft category—a testament to our focus on efficiency and innovation.
With an average fleet age of just 4.38 years, IndiGo is also ranked 4th in Asia. Our 400+ aircraft currently serve over 125 destinations.
This recognition highlights our commitment to operating a modern, fuel-efficient fleet that drives reliability, sustainability, and seamless travel experiences.
IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers has been named ‘The Glocal CEO’ at Business Today’s India’s Best CEOs Awards, recognizing leaders with a global vision rooted in local insight—an approach central to Pieter’s leadership at IndiGo. Featured in Making a Global Aviation Giant, he outlined IndiGo’s 2030 growth plans, 2024 network expansion, and India’s rising influence in global aviation, marked by IndiGo hosting the IATA AGM in New Delhi, the country’s first in 42 years.
IndiGo was named ‘Partner of the Year’ at the Changi Airline Awards 2025, hosted by Changi Airport Group at The Ritz-Carlton, Singapore, on 24 April. Accepted by Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, the award recognizes IndiGo’s position as Changi’s fifth-largest foreign carrier, operating 75 weekly flights and carrying over 1 million passengers in 2024. This milestone reflects our deepening partnership with Changi since 2011 and the strength of our expanded network and codeshare collaborations in enhancing global connectivity.
