    Zero Cancellation (powered by Liberty General Insurance) is an add-on insurance product facilitated by IndiGo for passengers booking flight tickets through IndiGo’s website, mobile site, or mobile app.
    This product enables customers to claim reimbursement of cancellation charges up to INR 5000 in case of flight ticket cancellation, subject to policy terms and conditions.

    Terms & Conditions:

    • Product will be offered to Indian residents only
    • Product will be valid for Domestic Air travel only
    • Zero Cancellation plan can be claimed if you have cancelled your flight ticket at least one day (24 hours) prior to scheduled departure date.
    • Zero Cancellation Plan can be purchased a maximum of 90 days prior and minimum 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time.

    1. What kind of benefits do I get with Zero cancellation plan?

      Benefit

      Benefit In the event of a trip cancellation, the insurance company will cover Cancellation penalty or Cancellation charges only levied by Airline.

      Accidental Death cover of INR 1,00,000 to the Nominee or legal representative, if during the Trip an Insured Person sustains Bodily "Injury which results in Death".
      24-hour Lifestyle Assistance in India 24-hour Lifestyle Assistance in India
      This benefit extends 24-hour emergency assistance such as Lifestyle Assistance in India. For details, please refer to the description available in Lifestyle Assistance section below.
    2. When does the Zero Cancellation Plan cover begin?

      The cover begins from the date and time you travel out of the place of origin and ends on arrival of the common carrier at the destination, as specifically mentioned on your policy certificate.

    3. Is there an age limit to be covered under Zero Cancellation Plan?

      No. There is no age limit for this plan.

    4. Can I cancel my Zero Cancellation plan?

      Zero Cancellation plan is non-cancellable.

    5. Is Zero Cancellation plan refundable?

      Zero Cancellation plan charges are non-refundable.

    6. Once I purchase the policy, can I change the date of my travel?

      Zero Cancellation plan cannot be changed once issued even if you are postponing or extending your trip.

    7. Who can purchase Zero Cancellation Plan?

      Any Indian domestic passenger travelling within India can purchase Zero Cancellation plan, while booking flights on www.goindigo.in

    8. What happens if the airline is grounded or non-operational?

      In this case the 'Trip Cancellation Benefit’ cover will not be paid as part of insurance.

    9. Can a claim be filed for ticket charges if a flight booked 20 days in advance is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances?

      Yes, you can file a claim for unrecoverable losses incurred due to ticket cancellation up to the limit specified on your policy certificate.

    10. What will be covered under the Zero cancellation plan?

      The Airline Cancellation fee or deduction will be covered up to a max limit specified on your policy certificate. Convenience fees, instant discount & Travel partner cancellation charges (nonrefundable costs) will not be covered.

      Example of claim amount under Zero Cancellation plan:

      If Ticket cost is INR5000 (without Insurance and convenience fees). A cancellation has been done before 24 hours of travel and cancellation fees (as charged by Airline) is INR3000. The entire INR3000 can be claimed from insurer.

      In any case, the claim amount will not more than the Airline cancellation Fee (Excluding convenience fee) subject to maximum limit specified under policy certificate.

    11. Who would be the beneficiary under this policy?

      Benefits will be paid to the bona fide legal heir in the event of loss of life under the accident death benefit. All other benefits will be payable to the ticket holder.

    1. How do I file a claim?

      To file a claim, you can call on the numbers listed below. The assistance team will guide you further and help you in intimating the claim.

    2. What documents will Liberty require to file the claim of Zero cancellation product?

      The documents include -

      • Copy of Cancelled cheque which confirms account holder's Name, Account No and IFSC of the bank.
    3. How much in advance will I have to cancel my booking to avail refund?

      You will need to cancel your flight ticket at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time to avail refund.

    4. What do I do if I have any questions on claims settlement?

    5. How will I receive the claim amount?

      You will receive the claim amount directly into your bank account, mentioned on the cancelled cheque.

    6. Can I Submit a claim for my Co-Passenger?

      A single customer can file a claim for all other passengersin the same PNR. However, customer will have to file a claim for each passenger separately in this case.

    7. In what case will I not get a claim?

      A customer is not eligible to receive the claim under following scenarios:

      • Cancellation of ticket in less than 24 hours of travel.
      • Customer registersthe claim after 10 days from the date of travel.
      • Customer fails to provide the required details to LGI within 30 days of claim registration.
      • Airlines authority cancels flight.
      • Change in Flight.
    8. What is the timeline for claim registration?

      Claim need to be registered within 10 days of ticket cancellation.

    9. What is TAT for claim process of the Zero cancellation plan?

      The average Turnaround Time (TAT) for processing claims is 5 working days from the date of receipt of the last required documents. This timeline is subject to the completeness and accuracy of the submitted documentation and may vary in cases requiring additional verification or clarification

     

    Lifestyle Assistance

    Asego’s lifestyle assistance within India acts as a personal assistant at the other end of the phone for today’s traveler.

    You can also explore enhanced lifestyle experiences such as attending concerts, eating out at restaurant, etc. even while you’re travelling within India.

    We will coordinate and arrange/refer for the below mentioned services through appropriate service providers for the customer/customer's family (spouse & children) in India. Services will be provided on a best effort basis and are subject to availability of the appropriate services providers to render the services.

    Flower Delivery Assistance: We will assist the customer/customer's family by arranging for delivery of flowers to their family or business associates for special occasions like birthdays/anniversaries/festivals. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and Northeastern states.

    Dining Referral and Reservation Assistance: We will assist the customer/customer's family by providing the contact details of restaurants in major cities in India. If requested, and whenever possible, we will also facilitate in making reservations on behalf of the customer/customer's family, recommending restaurants suitable for people with special needs

    (SPECIAL DINING). This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and Northeastern states.

    Courier Service Assistance: We will assist the customer/customer's family in sending letters/parcels to family/friends/business associates within India, by recommending an appropriate courier service at the member's family's location. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states.

    Special Events and Performance Assistance: We will assist the customer/customer's family in procuring tickets/passes for special events/performances within India. This will be done on a best- effort basis and hence, tickets cannot be guaranteed in case of sold-out events. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and Northeastern states.

    Sporting Events Reservation Assistance: We will assist the customer by providing referrals of providers to procure tickets/passes for sports events/performances in India. This will be done on a best-effort basis & tickets cannot be guaranteed in case of sold-out events.

    Events Reservation Assistance: We will assist the customer/customer's family by providing referrals of providers to procure tickets/passes for sports events/performances in India. This will be done on a best-effort basis and hence tickets cannot be guaranteed in case of sold-out

    events. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and Northeastern states.

    Home Movers Assistance: In case that a customer/customer's family needs to move to another location within or out of their usual place of residence, we will recommend an appropriate packing/moving service. Payments are to be made directly by the

    customer/customer's family. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states. `

    Locksmith Assistance: In the event that a customer/customer's family is locked out of his house, we will recommend a locksmith to assist the customer/customer's family. We can also arrange this

    service upon the customer’s request. Payment to the locksmith is to be made directly by the customer/customer's family as applicable. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states.

    Plumbing Assistance: In case of a plumbing problem such as leakages or clogged pipes/drains, we will recommend a plumber to assist the member / member's family. We can also arrange this service upon request from the customer/customer's family. Payment to the plumber is to be made directly by the member / member's family. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states.

    Electrical Assistance: In case of an electrical problem like a short circuit or faulty wiring, we will recommend an electrician to assist the customer/customer's family. we can also arrange this service upon request from the customer/customer's family. Payment to the electrician is to be made directly by the customer/customer's family. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states.

    Pest Control Assistance: We will recommend an appropriate pest control service provider to the customer/customer's family. Payments are to be made directly by the customer/customer's family. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states.

    Home Cleaning Assistance: We will recommend an appropriate facility maintenance provider for home cleaning services. Payments are to be made directly by the customer/customer's family. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states.

    Electrical Gadget Repair Assistance: We will recommend the nearest electrical gadget repair shop/establishment for servicing/repair of damaged/faulty electrical goods. Asego will not undertake the responsibility of verifying warranty details. Payments are to be made directly by customer/customer's family. This service is available across India, except Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and Northeastern states.

    • This policy is not applicable for 7 or more travelers, flying together on one ticket.
    • Trip Cancellation extension cover can be claimed if you have cancelled your flight tickets at least a day prior (24 Hrs.) to scheduled departure date and time
    • Only charges purely against Cancellation will be considered, no other services like Food Charges, free snack combo, free seat of your choice, extra baggage allowance, zero convenience fee will be part of Cancellation.
    • Trip Cancellation cover is not applicable when the Common Carrier is suspended, grounded off or not operating for whatsoever reason.
    • Zero Cancellation Plan can be purchased a maximum of 90 days prior and minimum 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time
