Ghaziabad is called the Gateway of Uttar Pradesh and is famous for its industries, lively urban life, rich culture, and accessibility. Named after Ghazi-ud-Din Khan Feroze Jung II, a prominent general during the Mughal period, Ghaziabad is a leading city in India’s economic growth. Whether you are a business person, an adventurer, or a family traveller, Ghaziabad greets every individual with its warm hospitality.

The city exudes a unique atmosphere due to its history, green parks, crowded malls, and spiritual centres. The city has everything from the peaceful ISKCON Temple to amusing Drizzling Land, which is fun for everyone. Additionally, because of its great transport system, you can easily reach your next exciting spot hassle-free.

    How to reach Ghaziabad?

    • By air: The Hindon Airport (HDO) is the closest to Ghaziabad, which handles only domestic operations. You can also access the Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), Delhi, which is about 45 km from the city. It enables people to travel from Ghaziabad to major Indian cities and important international locations. Regional travellers can use Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad to reach domestic cities like Dehradun, Pithoragarh, and Ludhiana.
    • By train: You can also reach the city by train. Ghaziabad Railway Station (GZB) is an important railway station in northern India. The station is situated on the Delhi–Howrah and Delhi–Meerut routes and is connected by many superfast, express, and passenger trains. People can also commute from Sahibabad, Vasundhara, and New Ghaziabad stations for local and suburban journeys.
    • By road: You can travel to the city by car or bus. Ghaziabad is linked to other cities by the national highways NH-24 (Delhi–Lucknow) and NH-9. It is easy to get to the city by private car, taxi, or by using cabs. There are regular buses from Ghaziabad to Delhi, Noida, Hapur, Meerut, and other nearby places.
    • Getting around/local transport in Ghaziabad: Travelling in the city is quite simple, as there are many options, including auto-rickshaws, cycle rickshaws, e-rickshaws, city buses, and app-based cabs. Metro rail and soon-to-be-built rapid transit projects help people commute daily with ease and in less time. The Delhi Metro Red Line and Blue Line provide a direct link between Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram and Vaishali and the city of Delhi. With the establishment of RRTS (Rapid Rail), travelling between Ghaziabad and Meerut is faster than before.
