Here are the complete details on institutional quarantine package guidelines for international arrivals into Saudi Arabia. 

Guidelines

India to Saudi Arabia

For customers from India to Jeddah, Riyadh & Damam

  1. Customer Categories Allowed to Travel
    1. Saudi Citizens
    2. Non-Saudi Citizens (Resident (IQAMA Holder), Family Visit Visa, New Resident Visa, Business Visa, New Employment Visa, HAJJ Visa, Umrah Visa) (Premium residency permit holders shall not be required to submit an exit/re-entry visa)
  2. Guidelines for Saudi Citizens
    1. Vaccinated Saudi Citizens have no requirements
    2. Non-Vaccinated Saudi Citizens shall be allowed to travel without a RT-PCR and will no longer be required to undergo home quarantine on arrival
    3. Saudi Citizens shall only be allowed to depart if they have received the booster dose of the Covid-19 Vaccination for those who have spent 3 months receiving the second dose. This does not apply to customers below the age of 16years and exempted people according to Tawakkalna application
  3. Guidelines for Non-Saudi Citizens

    1. All customers who are fully vaccinated with list of approved vaccines mentioned below e., those who have received both doses and completed 14 days after receipt of second dose are no longer required to be in possession of a pre-departure PCR or Antigen certificate while travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
    2. All customers who are partially vaccinated with list of approved vaccines mentioned below in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are no longer required to be in possession of a pre-departure PCR or Antigen certificate while travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
    3. All customers who are unvaccinated and partially vaccinated with vaccines outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall also be allowed to travel without a pre-departure PCR or Antigen certificate. However they are mandatorily required to register on Muqeem platform
    4. All customers arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are no longer required to undergo institutional or home quarantine
    5. All customers who have been fully vaccinated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with approved vaccines shall be required to confirm their immune status through Tawakalna Mobile Application

    6. All Customers who have been vaccinated outside the Kingdom with vaccines approved by the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia, can register via the link https://eservices.moh.gov.sa/CoronaVaccineRegistration/in order to get the approval of their vaccination certificates and update their immunization status
    7. All customers must fill out the Registration Immunization Information Form before traveling to the Kingdom through the following dedicated website: https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/hometo allow them to register their immunization data which will enable them to use the Tawakalna Mobile Application. Customers must present confirmation of registration either as a printed certificate or on their mobile device at check in
    8. All customers who are planning to travel to Saudi Arabia must have medical insurance that covers COVID19 treatment. This excludes citizens, residents, and GCC citizens. The insurance should cover the costs of treatment in outpatient clinics, emergencies, and hospitals, including institutional quarantine for a period of up to 14 days
    9. All customers travelling to Saudi Arabia are required to download and register on the TAWAKKALNA app

  4. Booking Institutional Quarantine
    1. As per the new Circular Issued by GACA, Now quarantine package for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not required on arrivals. Therefore, passengers who have already purchased quarantine package and not utilized the package with "itrip" or "Tripjack" can claim their refund on below mails:
      1. For itrip quarantine package refund passengers can contact at : qp.refunds@itrip-online.com
      2. For Tripjack quarantine package passengers can contact at: indigo.quarantine@tripjack.com
    2. Disclaimer: Refund request will be entertained for those passengers who booked quarantine package for the dates beyond 5th March' 2022
  1. List of approved Vaccines in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are
    1. Pfizer-BioNTech – 2 Doses
    2. Moderna – 2 Doses
    3. Oxford Astrazeneca (Covishield) – 2 Doses
    4. Johnson & Johnson – 1 Dose
  2. List of approved Vaccines for entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
    1. Pfizer-BioNTech – 2 Doses
    2. Moderna – 2 Doses
    3. Oxford Astrazeneca (Covishield) – 2 Doses
    4. Johnson & Johnson – 1 Dose
    5. Covaxin – 2 Doses
    6. Sputnik – 2 Doses
    7. Sinopharm & Sinovac – 2 Doses
      1. Customers who have obtained 2 doses of Sinopharm or Sinovac are allowed to enter on the condition that they have received an additional dose of the approved vaccines in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mentioned above
  3. Transit/Transfer beyond Saudi Arabia shall not be permitted
  • For customers from Saudi Arabia to India

    1. Eligibility to travel to India: Indian nationals and Nationals of Bhutan and Nepal; All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders and Person of Indian Origin Cardholders holding passport of any country, and Foreign Nationals including diplomats holding visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines as amened time to time

    3. As per extant government regulations, customers are permitted to travel to India from the United Kingdom only on a direct flight. Customers shall not be allowed to travel to India through a transit airport of another country. Hence, all customers travelling from the United Kingdom to India via any other/ third country from where IndiGo operates its flight to India, shall not be permitted to undertake travel on such IndiGo operated flight. All liabilities, penalties, costs, losses arising out of such refusal of carriage by IndiGo or proposed travel, shall be borne solely by the customer
