Madrid, the capital of Spain, is one of Europe's most impressive and breathtaking cities. It is exciting and dynamic combination allows you to book flights to Madrid and explore this metropolis. Madrid is also home to the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), a specialised agency of the United Nations (UN). Madrid tourism is known for its Renaissance and contemporary museums, historic buildings, beautiful neighbourhoods and vibrant nightlife. Book a codeshare flight to Madrid and let Madrid travel guide you to some of the city’s attractions. No vacation to Madrid is complete without exploring its impressive gardens, various historic buildings, beautiful museums, and charming public squares.

    How to reach Madrid?

    • By air: The main airport that serves Madrid is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD), also known as Madrid–Barajas Airport. This international airport is the second-largest in Europe, and you can find several public transportation options that connect the city to the airport. Together with Turkish Airlines, we at IndiGo can connect you from India to Madrid with multiple flights to Madrid as well as to several other European cities from Istanbul.
    • By train: To visit the city by train, you can get to Chamartín and Atocha. These are the two train stations in Madrid. Both of these stations have Metro and Cercanias commuter train connections. Renfe, a railway company, is also recommended to book train services to and from Madrid.
    • By road: Buses and taxis are the best way to get around the city and to the airport; there are plenty of local taxi services and app-based cabs around Madrid.
    • Getting around/local transport in Madrid: The best way to explore Madrid is by taking the metro. The Madrid metro system is spread throughout the city. It also connects to the Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) and to the southern suburbs. You can collect a travel pass that can be used on all public transport, like metros and blue EMT city buses. Speaking of buses, they are also a great way to get around the city. There are several buses that cover every neighbourhood; you can also find metered taxis and app-based taxi services.
