Before your flight, you will receive an email notification to declare your health status online. Do ensure to fill in the same for a hassle-free travel experience. Your boarding pass will be issued only post clearance of your health declaration.
Install the app before you reach the airport. Your health declaration will be further validated by airport authorities through this app at the time of entering the airport. Passengers with ‘red’ status will not be allowed to travel. The Aarogya Setu app is not mandatory for children below the age of 14 years.
Web check-in is a must. Do ensure you web check-in in advance to be allowed entry at the airport. No physical check-in will be done at the airport counters. Only the baggage drop facility is available. You will also be required to check in your baggage online.Web check-in is open 48 hours to 60 minutes before the flight departure time.
To enable a contactless travel journey, you are requested to obtain your boarding pass and baggage tag (for check-in baggage only). Please carry a printed or soft copy of the same. Doing so would minimise contact at the airport.
Only one check-in bag of 20 kg is allowed at the baggage drop counters. Carry just one handbag, if you must. Please ensure that it can fit under the seat (in front of you) on board. This could be ladies hand bag or a laptop bag only.
Please reach at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure. Our counters will now close 1 hour before your flight time. Due to the various steps being taken at the airport for your well-being, the pre-flight journey may take longer than usual. So, to ensure a timely flow, reach early.
It is mandatory for all passengers to wear a face mask to enter the airport and continue wearing it at all times. Also, you are advised to wear gloves and carry a bottle of hand sanitiser (350ml). It is the best way to protect one self. And while you’re at it, don’t touch your face.
Practice social distancing at all times. Use airport restrooms and make sure to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. Consume food/water at the airports as consumption on-board is not allowed. Please scan your boarding pass yourself at the boarding gate. And ensure you keep your identity card handy at all times.
We would urge you to stay seated and not move around the aircraft. Face-to-face interaction has to be minimal. You are advised to minimise the use of lavatories and avoid any non-essential movement in the aircraft. Especially when the flight lands, don’t crowd in the aisles. Wait at your seat till it’s your turn to disembark.
