IndiGo, the award-winning low-fare domestic airline that is redefining airline quality standards in India, announced the expansion of its route network, with the introduction of 11 new fights with effect from 29th March 2009. The new flights will operate between New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad & Vadodara. Also IndiGo has introduced new timings to the existing flights operating from New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata & Ahmedabad. With the launch of these new services, IndiGo is operating 125 daily flights currently connecting 17 destinations. Speaking on the launch of new and additional services,Mr. Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo,said, We are pleased to announce these services, which will cater to the domestic demand on these routes and will provide additional ways for our customers to travel across our route network.
Citizens of Nepal and Maldives are eligible for tax exemption/reduction, as per applicable laws, on the airfare. In order to avail such tax exemption/reduction, passengers must declare their correct nationality at the time of booking. In case citizens of Nepal or Maldives intend to travel with any foreign nationals, such citizen (passenger) are requested to kindly book tickets for accompanying foreign national (passengers) in a separate PNR/ticket. Once selected, the nationality cannot be changed at any point during the booking process.
