With effect from July 22, 2010, the check-in counters for all IndiGo flights operating across 22 destinations will close 45 minutes before departure, against the previous time frame of 30 minutes. Passengers from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and other centers will be notified of this development, via sms, e-mails, and the airlines travel trade partners through IndiGos Operational Control Centre (OCC). On-time performance is core to IndiGo, and is one of the three values that the airline stands for. We request passengers to arrive well in time to check-in, so that routine procedures and formalities like security checks and boarding 6E flights can be completed On-Time. This move is in compliance with the directions and procedures specified in Air Transport Circular 10 of 2009 issued by the DGCA, and will also help the airline to minimize operational disruptions.
