IndiGo, the award-winning low-fare domestic airline has announced the induction of yet another new Airbus-320 and with this induction, IndiGo will launch six new flights on its network.The low-cost carrier will operate its 2nd daily service between Delhi-Chennai, and 3rd daily non-stop service between Chennai-Kolkata and Kolkata-Guwahati sectors. The new flights will provide increased frequencies on the routes and offer greater travel options for its customers. Commencing on June 22, the new services will expand IndiGos presence in the Indian skies, with its 182 flights connecting 22 destinations across the nation. Speaking on the addition of new routes to its services,Mr. Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo,said, In line with our endeavor to meet the requirements of both business and leisure travelers, we have introduced additional flights from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Guwahati. It gives me immense pleasure in announcing these new frequencies, which will provide even more flexibility of choice for our customers, and connect these destinations across India. IndiGo also recently launched flights on two new sectors Bangalore-Kochi, and Kochi-Kolkata, started operations of its 5th flight on the Delhi - Kolkata route, and 3rd non-stop flight on the Kolkata - Bangalore sector.
