National, January 20, 2018: In its endeavour to strengthen its growing network, IndiGo, India’s largest and fastest growing carrier today commenced its operations in Colombo, Sri Lanka. With touch-down of 6E-1202 (Chennai-Colombo) on Saturday, January 20th at Bandaranaike International Airport; Colombo became its 8th international and 49th overall destination on IndiGo’s ever growing network.
National, January 17, 2018: This January, IndiGo, India’s largest and fastest growing carrier is paying tribute to patriotic spirit of the Indian Armed Forces. To celebrate three pivotal days for armed forces - Veterans’ Day, Army Day and Republic Day (14th, 15th and 26th respectively) - IndiGo today facilitated a visit of Military officers at CAE Simulation Training Pvt Ltd (CSTPL) Greater Noida. In its Annual review – Punctuality League 2018, OAG recognizes the airlines that have consistently clocked highest On-time performance (OTP) by including on-time performance for the world’s Top 20 busiest domestic and international routes, and other categories. IndiGo has been ranked 4th amongst Top 20 mega airlines (The World’s Top 20 operators globally in terms of scheduled flights in 2017) and 9th amongst Top 20 Low-cost carriers (LCCs) by OTP. National, January 09, 2018: Strengthening its positioning further as India’s largest and fastest growing low-cost carrier, IndiGo today expanded its regional network by commencing ATR operations from Rajahmundry. Honourable Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa along with Mr. Sanjeev Ramdas, Executive Vice President of Customer Service & Operations Control, IndiGo flagged-off the flight from Rajahmundry to Chennai at Rajahmundry Airport today.

With daily direct flights from Chennai and Bengaluru, Colombo will become IndiGo’s 8th international and 49th overall destination effective January 20, 2018.
National, January 07, 2018: Strengthening its positioning further as India’s largest and fastest growing low-cost carrier, IndiGo today expanded its regional network by adding Tirupati on its network. Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju along with Mr Aditya Ghosh, President and Whole Time Director IndiGo flagged-off the second flight from Tirupati to Hyderabad at Tirupati International Airport today.
National, January 04, 2018: In a bid to further strengthen its operations, IndiGo, India’s largest and fastest growing carrier, today announced the launch of six new and five additional frequencies on its existing domestic network. Effective February 01, 2018 IndiGo will connect Chennai with first direct flight on Chennai - Udaipur, Chennai -Varanasi, Chennai - Patna and Chennai - Lucknow sectors.
