National, November 21, 2018: IndiGo, India’s largest low-cost carrier, has announced a four day winter sale across 6E network. Effective November 21, 2018 till November 25, 2018, IndiGo is offering customers all-inclusive fare starting at INR 899 across sectors. The low-cost carrier is offering 10 lakh seats and this sale is valid for travel between December 06, 2018 and on April 15, 2019.
National, November 15, 2018: In a quest to augment its women empowerment programme – “IndiGo Shakti”, the country’s largest low-cost carrier, IndiGo conducted an “Annual Famers’ meet 2018 jointly with its NGO partner Grameen Sahara in Assam today. The purpose of this Annual Farmers’ Meet was to bring the agricultural community together for constructive collaboration and dialogue which will further enable to create more economic opportunities for women. As part of this engagement with over 400 farmers, both IndiGo and Grameen Sahara showcased the impact IndiGo’s Shakti programme has made on women in the area of creating livelihood opportunities. The annual event saw presence of renowned dignitaries representing their respective domains who further inspired these 400 farmers to take agricultural activities to the next level. These prestigious dignitaries included Mr. Sarat Saikia (Chief Scientist,) from Horticulture Research Station, Guwahati; Mr. T.N. Deka, Regional Director, Spices Board, and Brojen Goswami, President, Chhaygaon Civil Societies.
National, November 15, 2018: IndiGo, India’s largest airline, today operated its inaugural flight to Allahabad from Bengaluru. The flight was welcomed at Bamrauli Airport by Shri. Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Hon’ble Minister of Stamp and court fee, Revenue, Civil Aviation with the Uttar Pradesh government, and team IndiGo at a ceremony held today. Allahabad-Bengaluru to be the sixth RCS (Regional Connectivity Scheme - UDAN) route and the 60th destination on IndiGo network.
National, November 14, 2018: To mark this special occasion of celebrating Children’s day, IndiGo flew 48 underprivileged children on a special flight which operated from Chennai this morning. A “dream flying” ATR aircraft was specially arranged to fly these kids on board as part of *IndiGoReach initiative. As part of the celebrations, these kids were dressed in IndiGo blue coloured t-shirts and there was a cake cutting ceremony which was a special surprise for the kids at Chennai airport.
National, November 02, 2018: IndiGo, India’s largest airline, today inaugurated its school adoption programme in Dehradun. The airline has partnered with SRF Foundation to improve the quality of education in 15 government schools in the city. Through this programme, IndiGo aims to impact the lives of 20,000 students by adopting 60 schools across four cities - Indore, Dehradun, Vadodara and Greater Noida. The airline launched this initiative from Indore in September this year.
