Bengaluru, January 31, 2019: InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., which operates India’s leading domestic carrier – IndiGo – and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) – operator of Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB) – have entered into a 20-year agreement to sub-lease land at the BLR Airport to build a state-of-the-art Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility. The 13,000-sq mts hangar, to be built on five acres in the BLR Airport campus, would be able to accommodate two narrow body aircraft and will have support infrastructure, including an engine QEC shop warehouse and engineering offices for all repair and maintenance.
Gurgaon, January 24, 2019: The Board of Directors of InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) today announced the appointment of Mr. M. Damodaran as an Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of the Board. IndiGo also fondly remembers the services of late Mr. M.D. Mallya, who was the first Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director since the airline was listed on the Indian stock exchanges.
National, January 25, 2019: IndiGo, India’s largest carrier has announced Istanbul as its 16th international destination. The airline will operate its daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Istanbul effective March 20, 2019 with Airbus A321 aircraft.
National, January 24, 2019: Reinforcing its commitment to the South India Market, India’s largest carrier, IndiGo is all set to operate out of Kannur effective January 25, 2019. In addition to connecting Kannur with Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Goa and Hubli, the low-cost carrier has also announced international connectivity from Kannur. Effective March 15, the airline will operate daily flights between Kannur and Doha and six-days a week service between Kannur and Kuwait.

Effective January 09, 2019 till January 13, 2019, IndiGo is offering customers all-inclusive fare starting at INR 899 across domestic and INR 3399 across international sectors. This sale is valid for travel between January 24, 2019 and on April 15, 2019.
