Xin chào Vietnam! IndiGo marks its entry in Vietnam with flights from Kolkata to Hanoi

National, July 30, 2019: Strengthening its presence in South-east Asia, IndiGo, India’s leading airline, announced its entry into Vietnam. Hanoi will be IndiGo’s 19th International and 75th overall destination. Effective October 03, 2019*, IndiGo will operate its non-stop daily flights between Kolkata and Hanoi. Vietnam is the 5th Southeast Asian country in the 6E network after successful operations to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and its recent flights to Myanmar.

IndiGo introduces direct connection from Kochi to Jeddah, strengthens presence in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

National, July 29, 2019: IndiGo, India’s leading airline, today announced a daily non-stop flight connecting Kochi and Jeddah, effective September 16, 2019. This is IndiGo’s second flight to Jeddah, after the introduction of Delhi-Jeddah route on 05 June 2019. Bookings on Kochi-Jeddah route are open with immediate effect.

IndiGo strengthens connectivity in North-East India; introduces flights from Delhi to Agartala and Dibrugarh

IndiGo inaugurates Shillong as 54th domestic destination

National, July 20, 2019: India’s leading airline, IndiGo, today commenced operations to and from Shillong its 54th domestic destination. The airline inaugurated 07 new flights on Kolkata-Shillong and Kolkata-Raipur routes. The new routes will be serviced by an ATR-18 aircraft. Furthermore, Kolkata – Shillong – Kolkata is IndiGo’s next route under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). Honourable Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad Sangma - graced IndiGo’s inaugural flight from Kolkata to Shillong, along with his delegates.

IndiGo enhances international connectivity from Mumbai and Delhi; introduces flights to Jeddah, Dubai and Kuwait

National, July 15, 2019: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, continues to enhance its international connectivity by announcing 06 new flights. Effective July 25 and August 05, IndiGo will launch daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi with Jeddah, and Mumbai with Kuwait. IndiGo partners with New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy for its flagship cadet pilot program

National, 01 July 2019: IndiGo has awarded the New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy (NZICPA) a pilot training contract to train future airline pilots under IndiGo’s flagship ‘cadet pilot program’. The partnership will overlook the living and training of these cadets in New Zealand.
