IndiGo resumes more than 650 weekly flights to and from UP

National, November 18, 2020: India’s leading carrier, IndiGo, is currently operating more than 650 weekly flights including the RCS routes to and from the cities of Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur in the state of UP. The airline witnessed highest air travel demand from Lucknow which is directly connected to 13 domestic destinations including new direct flights to Indore & Raipur. In addition, IndiGo also operated approximately 300 Vande Bharat and Air Bubble flights connecting UP with Dubai, Doha, Sharjah, Jeddah, Kuwait, Dammam, Riyadh & Abu Dhabi.

IndiGo achieves its next milestone; operates 1,00,000 flights since lockdown

National, November 11, 2020: IndiGo, India’s largest Airline, marked the accomplishment of completing 1,00,000 flights since lockdown on November 11, 2020. The tally includes scheduled commercial operations, passenger charters, CarGo charters, Air Bubble flights, and repatriation flights under the Vande Bharat programme. The airline had earlier completed 50,000 flights since lockdown on September 12, 2020. IndiGo reached this milestone with the operation of 6E 216 from Hyderabad to Varanasi this morning. IndiGo operated these flights while adhering to all the precautionary measures, ensuring a safe and hassle-free travel experience on-board a lean, clean flying machine.

IndiGo collaborates with Stemz Healthcare to offer COVID-19 RT-PCR test with flight bookings

National, November 04, 2020: In-line with its measures to ensure safety of passengers w.r.t. COVID-19, IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, has partnered with Stemz Healthcare to enable COVID-19 RT-PCR test at affordable rates for passengers travelling on domestic and international flights. To book a test, customers can take appointment online on IndiGo website through a co-branded URL page based on their travel date. Customers can opt for a home visit or choose a lab visit with over 200+ collection centers in India. The service is also available in other countries including UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
