IndiGo to shift flights with series 2000 (6E2000-6E2999) from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 of IGI Airport

National, Sep 28, 2020: IndiGo, India’s leading airline, which is currently operating more than 105 domestic flights from Terminal 3, will be shifting some flights to Terminal 2 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, from October 1, 2020. All the flights with call sign between 6E 2000 - 6E 2999 will be departing from and arriving at Terminal 2 of IGI Airport, while the rest will operate from T3. The transfer process between these two terminals has been optimised to provide a seamless experience to the passengers.

IndiGo operated its maiden CarGo flight to Chittagong

National, Sep 22, 2020: Continuing with its commitment to support the nation, IndiGo operated its maiden flight to Chittagong, Bangladesh on September 21, 2020. The 6E flight from Kolkata to Chittagong transported total of 9963 kg of CarGo i.e. 51.482 CBM which includes medical supplies and other general commodities. The flight was operated while adhering to all the precautionary measures.

IndiGo rewards every millionth 6E customer

National, Sep 16, 2020: In its bid to increase confidence in air travel, IndiGo has launched ‘6E millionth passenger campaign’ for its customers. The airline will reward every millionth passenger with 2 free round-trip tickets across IndiGo’s domestic network, valid till March 31, 2021. IndiGo’s 1^st millionth passenger after resumption of services post lockdown, flew on 6E 344 from Bengaluru to Kolkata on September 15, 2020.

More Ka-ching with IndiGo when you stay, dine and work at Accor hotels!

National, Sep 14, 2020: IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, partnered with Accor, a global leader in augmented hospitality, to offer accelerated 6E Rewards on spends across stay, dining and work from hotel across India. The partnership will offer a range of hotels, from Luxury to economy category, to Ka-ching card holders enabling them to earn 3% on 6E Rewards card and earn 6% on 6E Rewards XL credit card. Under this partnership with Accor, Ka-ching cardholders would be able to earn 6E Rewards across multi-properties in key cities.

IndiGo achieves its next milestone; operates 50,000 flights since lockdown

National, Sep 12, 2020: IndiGo, India’s largest Airline, marked the completion of 50,000 flights since lockdown till September 12, 2020. The tally includes scheduled commercial operations, passenger charters, CarGo charters, Air Bubble flights, and repatriation flights under the Vande Bharat programme. All these fights were operated while adhering to all the precautionary measures. During this period, the airline has operated 47865 domestic flights across India and 1799 international flights to destinations spanning across Middle East, Central Asia, South-East Asia and South Asia region. IndiGo touched this milestone with the operation of 6E 494 from Delhi to Patna this morning.

IndiGo CarGo operations on a high, with over 1700 charters since April

National, Sep 11, 2020: In-line with its mission to support the nation, IndiGo operated over 1700 CarGo charters, transporting more than 14300 MT of supplies since 18th April’20 till 07th September’20. The CarGo charter flights operated across 21 destinations within India and internationally, including new stations like Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Cairo in Egypt, Almaty in Kazakhstan and Tashkent in Uzbekistan. IndiGo operated these flights while adhering to all the precautionary measures.

IndiGo commences flights between Male and Kochi under Air Bubble

National, Sep 03, 2020: In-line with its vision to strengthen international connectivity from India, IndiGo commenced two weekly flights between India and Maldives under air bubble from today. The first such arrangement in South-Asia was recently decided after the agreement between officials from both the governments. IndiGo will operate flights on Kochi-Male-Kochi route twice a week, while adhering to all the precautionary measures, ensuring a safe and hassle-free travel experience on-board a lean clean flying machine.

IndiGo marks 100 days of flying by enabling India’s first ever blood plasma transport in CarGo

National, Sep 01, 2020: IndiGo, in its bid to support the country in its fight against the pandemic, created the first ever blood plasma corridor to save the life of a patient suffering from COVID-19. The plasma units were transported on IndiGo CarGo from Bengaluru to Srinagar via connecting flights. The plasma was first flown from Bengaluru to Delhi on 6E 363 followed by the connecting flight from Delhi to Srinagar 6E 2486. The plasma sustained a transit period of over 8 hours and was delivered successfully at the government hospital in Srinagar today. IndiGo is the second airline in the world to have transported plasma successfully onboard CarGo.
