IndiGo to operate flight numbers 6E 5500 - 6E 5900 to/ from Terminal 1 at Mumbai International Airport from March 10

National, February 27, 2021: IndiGo, India’s leading airline, will be operating flight numbers with subset series 6E 5500 - 6E 5900 to and from Terminal 1 at the Mumbai International Airport from March 10, 2021, as directed by Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). All other flights, including 5000 series, will continue to operate from Terminal 2.

IndiGo signs agreement with Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Limited, to commence operations from Durgapur as its 66th domestic destination

National, February 17, 2021: Continuing its efforts towards strengthening regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, signed an agreement with Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Limited (BAPL) to start operations from Durgapur – the 66th destination in 6E network. The airline will operate its first direct flightsfrom Delhi, Bengaluru, and a southern city to Durgapur from April 22, 2021, with bookings opening from February 13, 2021.

IndiGo strengthens regional connectivity, announces 22 new flights across India

National, February 11, 2021: In its bid to strengthen regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has launched 22 new flights connecting key regional cities in India, w.e.f. March 28, 2021. IndiGo will operate new flights between Agartala - Aizawl under RCS scheme and exclusive flights between Bhubaneswar-Patna, Jaipur-Vadodara, Chennai-Vadodara, Bengaluru-Shirdi, Patna-Kochi, and Rajahmundry-Tirupati. IndiGo will be also be commencing flights between Kolkata-Gaya, CochinTrivandrum, Jaipur-Surat, Chennai-Surat.

IndiGo announces the appointment of Jiten Chopra as Chief Financial Officer

Gurgaon, February 09, 2021: InterGlobe Aviation Ltd (IndiGo) today announced the appointment of Jiten Chopra as Chief Financial Officer effective February 21, 2021. Jiten will report to Ronojoy Dutta, Whole Time Director and CEO. Jiten succeeds Aditya Pande who is leaving IndiGo to pursue other interests.

IndiGo kickstarts Goa Carnival under ‘India by IndiGo’ campaign

National, February 08, 2021: Spreading festive cheer as part of its ‘India by IndiGo’ campaign, India’s leading carrier, IndiGo has revved up for the Goa Carnival starting February 07 to February 16. A cultural expedition to celebrate the diverse Indian culture, the campaign was launched with the colourful festival of Durga Puja in October, followed by Diwali and Christmas in November and December, respectively. IndiGo is celebrating the Goa Carnival at five of its stations including Goa, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

National, February 03, 2021: India’s leading carrier, IndiGo, has been honoured with four awards in sales and customers service category in 15th edition of Stevie Awards. The airline has won four accolades across prestigious categories, including - Gold for Contact Center of the year, Silver for Best use of Technology in customer service and Bronze for both - Best Customer Feedback Strategy and Customer Service Complaints Team of the year”. IndiGo has emerged as the winner in these categories, outranking over 2,300 nominations from organizations across 51 nations this year.

IndiGo cautions candidates to beware of fake job offers

National, February 02, 2021: In its bid to create awareness, India’s leading carrier, IndiGo, issued advisory to be cognizance around fake job offers. IndiGo, through its creatives across social media and website is raising awareness of how certain people claiming to represent IndiGo are misusing the brand name & the names of IndiGo employees, demanding money in exchange for interviews or jobs. The airline does not charge any money for conducting interviews, providing jobs, or imparting trainings on joining. IndiGo strictly advises to report the matter to the police if someone asks for money and promise of a job at IndiGo. IndiGo is also taking appropriate actions for cases that get reported and hence is focused on spreading awareness.
