National, January 29, 2021:As part of its mission to strengthen regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has announced direct flights from Kurnool to Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, and Chennai under the RCS scheme. The flights will be commenced from March 28, 2021 with bookings opening from February 01, 2021. Being the 5th largest city, Kurnool will also be the judicial capital of Andhra Pradesh, as per the recent 3-capital proposal passed by the state government. Increased accessibility will not only open more avenues for tourists but also for government officials travelling to and from Kurnool.

National, January 22, 2021: To strengthen its regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, announced Agra as its 64th domestic destination. The airline will connect Agra to Bengaluru and Bhopal through direct flights under the RCS scheme, effective March 28, 2021. The bookings are open with one-way fares starting at INR 2523 for Bhopal and INR 3789 for Bengaluru. The addition of Agra as a new destination is part of IndiGo’s strategy to enhance domestic connectivity to fulfil demand from regional centres while enhancing accessibility.
National, January 20, 2021: In-line with its commitment to provide support to the nation in the current scenario, India’s largest airline, IndiGo transported a total 5,785 kg of shipments from SII and Bharat Bio-tech - vaccine vials equating to 21.60 lacs doses - between January 12, 2021 and January 19, 2021. The shipments were moved from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune to 16 locations across the country including, Vijayawada, Guwahati, Patna, Odisha, Raipur, Bhopal, Thiruvananthapuram, Indore, Imphal, Agartala, Chandigarh and Udaipur via 21 IndiGo flights.
National, January 16, 2021: In order to further strengthen domestic connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, announced Leh as its 63rd domestic destination. The bookings are now open as the airline will commence daily flights between Delhi-Leh effective February 22, 2021. Leh, the capital of Ladakh is known for its magnificent landscapes, crystal clear skies, adventurous activities, Buddhist Monasteries and festivals. The destination attracts tourist during from April to September.
National, January 14, 2021:India’s leading carrier, IndiGo, announced a five-day special festive sale across select domestic flights on 6E network. The sale, effective from January 13, 2021 to January 17, 2021, will offer customers all-inclusive fares on domestic flights at starting at INR 877. The sale is valid on travel from April 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021. Change or cancellation fee of INR 500 will be applicable on bookings made during the sale.
National, January 12, 2021: In order to furtherstrengthen domestic connectivity, India’s leading carrier, IndiGo, today announced its plans to initiate flights from seven new stations which include Leh, Darbhanga, Agra, Kurnool, Bareilly, Durgapur and Rajkot, subject to regulatory approvals and slot allocation. The airline plans to open Leh and Darbhanga in February, followed by Kurnool and Agra in March, Bareilly and Durgapur in April and Rajkot in May 2021.
