IndiGo allocates USD 820 million towards purchase of aviation assets

National, 21 November 2025: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has approved a capital investment of USD 820 million (~INR 72,940 million) in its wholly owned subsidiary, InterGlobe Aviation Financial Services IFSC Private Limited (“IndiGo IFSC”). The Investment will be made through combination of equity shares and 0.01% Non-Cumulative Optionally Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares (OCRPS), in one or more tranches. The funds raised by IndiGo IFSC shall be primarily deployed towards acquisition of aviation assets, thereby enabling ownership of aircraft.

This new route makes IndiGo the first carrier to offer direct connectivity between the two cities. The flights on this route will be operated using IndiGo’s ATR aircraft, offering affordable and reliable travel experience to its customers.

IndiGo Inaugurates Connectivity Between Delhi and Manchester

National, 17 November 2025: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, commenced direct flights between Delhi and Manchester on 15 November following the successful launch of its first-ever long-haul service connecting Mumbai and Manchester, earlier this year. The 5x weekly flights on this route are operated using IndiGo’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft taken on damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways. The aircraft features two-class cabin configuration comprising 56 IndiGoStretch seats and 282 Economy Class seats, ensuring comfort and convenience for long-haul travel.

IndiGo Fuels Domestic Expansion with New Routes from the Newly Launched Navi Mumbai International Airport

National, 15 November 2025: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, announced the launch of flight operations from the newly opened Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), starting 25 December 2025. IndiGo will connect the future-ready airport to ten cities across India including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, North Goa (Mopa), Jaipur, Nagpur, Cochin, and Mangalore. The airline plans to expand its operations, progressively, at NMIA by adding direct routes to more destinations in due course.

National, 13 November 2025 – IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, today commenced direct flights between Kolkata and Siem Reap, becoming the first Indian carrier to directly connect India to Cambodia. The thrice weekly flights, operated using IndiGo’s Airbus A320neo aircraft, further solidifies the airline’s international network, as it connects India with strategic markets across the ASEAN region and beyond. Siem Reap is IndiGo’s 46^th international destination and 140^th overall destination in its growing network.

IndiGo Signs Memorandum of Understanding with China Southern Airlines for Codeshare Partnership

National, 11 November 2025 – IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, and China Southern Airlines today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a codeshare partnership and mutual co-operation agreement. With this, China Southern Airlines will be able to offer enhanced connectivity into India while IndiGo customers will be able to connect on the China Southern Airlines’ extensive network beyond Guangzhou. This is subject to regulatory approvals.

The flights on this route will be operated using IndiGo’s A320neo aircraft, offering affordable, convenient and comfortable travel experience on the route. Last month, IndiGo had become the first Indian airline to resume connectivity to China by reinstating its flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou.

National, 05 November 2025 – IndiGo and Bluebox Aviation Systems today announce their partnership to offer a next-generation digital inflight experience to IndiGo customers. Powered by Blueview, Bluebox’s modular digital services platform, the system will be integrated as a line-fit solution on Airbus’ Open Software Platform (OSP) on IndiGo’s upcoming A321-XLR fleet. This makes IndiGo India’s first airline to do so, ensuring access to the in-flight entertainment offering from the aircraft’s first flight, without the need for retrofitting.
