National, January 07, 2026: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, becomes the first Indian airline to induct an Airbus A321XLR aircraft in its fleet, a significant milestone in its long-term international expansion strategy. The long-range variant of the Airbus A321neo arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, today morning. It will be deployed on the airline’s upcoming non-stop services connecting Mumbai to Athens from 23 January 2026, and Delhi to Athens from 24 January 2026, operating thrice weekly on both routes.
