IndiGo inaugurates its second MRO facility at the Kempegowda International Airport

National, November 23, 2022: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier inaugurated its second maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at the Kempegowda International Airport on November 17, 2022. The 13,000- sq mts hangar is built on five acres of land and is the second largest maintenance facility at the Bengaluru Airport. IndiGo has signed a 20-year pact with Bengaluru International Airport Ltd. for the facility. The MRO facility was inaugurated by IndiGo’s engineering head, Mr. SC Gupta. The facility can accommodate up to 2 narrow body aircraft at the same time. Additionally, the facility will have support infrastructure, including an engine QEC shop warehouse and engineering offices for all repair and maintenance work.
