It’s a Hat-trick! IndiGo Recognized as World's Youngest Aircraft Fleet 2025 by ch-aviation for Third Consecutive year
National, February 28, 2025: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has been awarded the prestigious title of ‘World’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet 2025’ by ch-aviation in the category of airlines operating 100+ aircraft, a testament to its commitment to operational efficiency. IndiGo has received this award for the third consecutive year in this category. Furthermore, IndiGo has been ranked 4th in Asia for maintaining a modern and efficient fleet with an average aircraft age of just 4.38 years. Currently, IndiGo has a fleet of over 400 aircraft, serving over 125 destinations.

This vast intelligence covers over 110,000 aircraft, more than 13,500 active airlines, 2,900 aircraft owners, and more. To determine the award winners, ch-aviation considered only active commercial operators—both passenger and cargo—with at least five aircraft., so as the active business jet operators. A consolidated AOC list was used for airline groups with multiple Air Operator Certificates (AOCs).
