IndiGo Strengthens Network in Gujarat: Announces Twice Daily, Direct Connectivity between Bhavnagar and Navi Mumbai from 29 March 2026

National, 25 February, 2026: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, today announced 14x weekly direct flights connecting Bhavnagar (BHU), Gujarat, and Navi Mumbai, effective 29 March 2026. With this addition, Bhavnagar becomes IndiGo’s 97th domestic station and 142nd station overall, further strengthening the airline’s domestic network and regional connectivity in western India. The flights on this route will be operated using IndiGo’s ATR aircraft, offering convenient and reliable travel option to customers between the two cities. Bookings are now open on IndiGo website (www.goIndiGo.in), the IndiGo mobile app, and across authorized travel partners.

Bhavnagar is a significant centre for trade in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region, with a strong presence in sectors such as manufacturing, ship breaking, salt production, diamonds, and more. Improved air connectivity has the potential to support faster movement of people and goods, facilitate trade and investment, and offer travellers seamless access to India’s financial capital and beyond.
