We bagged a Silver at the Indian “Effie” awards 2021 and a Bronze at ‘Campaign PR Awards India
Recently, our agency, Weiden+Kennedy, won a Silver at the Indian “Effie” awards, which are known as the Oscars of Indian advertising: the award was for our ‘Lean Clean Flying Machine’ campaign again, which has been enormously successful.
Another big win for the same campaign (Lean Clean Flying Machine) was by our PR agency ‘Genesis BCW’ who won a Bronze at ‘Campaign PR Awards India 2021’ in the ‘Campaign Reputational and Issues Management’ category.

IndiGo bags 2021 COVID-19 Airline Excellence Award
COVID-19 standards were rated across several key areas, including; information and signage, distancing marking and controls, face mask usage consistency amongst staff and passengers, visibility and frequency of hand sanitisers, standard and availability of hygiene products, adapted service in the airport and onboard flights, and cleaning standards and frequency during the end-to-end travel experience.
Airlines around the world have introduced a broad range of hygiene measures to protect customers and staff when travelling by plane. From the moment a ticket is booked, it has been essential for airlines to provide thorough information resources, social distancing measures, and enhanced hand sanitising systems.
IndiGo ranks 5th best low-cost airline in the world
As per the latest ranking of the world's best airlines by Skytrax, a review body, we have been voted as the world's fifth-best low-cost airline in 2021. Skytrax's World Airline Awards are based on customer surveys where airlines are ranked based on votes from travellers worldwide.

Two awards for: ‘Contact Centre Unique Innovations & Transformation’ and ‘Customer Experience Excellence in Aviation' for a swift response to disruptions in business continuity and thinking out of the box to handle situations. Over the last year, we have introduced various technology integrations including, Voice bot, Chat bot-Dottie, and AI-enabled WhatsApp service, which could successfully cater to handling huge volumes of interactions. Despite increased interaction volumes, the average service level was maintained above 96%, with a satisfaction score of 4.7 on a 5-star rating scale.

We won a Gold for Lean Clean Flying Machine campaign in the Crisis Management (COVID-19) category. The integrated brand communications campaign encapsulates our entire journey during the pandemic to provide safe and reliable travel options to our customers. The ‘Let’s Talk Cargo’ trophy was under ‘Top 5 Passenger Airlines and Airlines Groups - by Passenger Freighter Flight Movements’ category at the Changi Cargo Partners Appreciation Awards 2021, which aims to recognise passenger airlines who have mounted an unprecedented number of PACC flights in Singapore during 2020. The ‘Changi Airline Awards 2020’ trophy, was won under the ‘Top Airlines by Absolute Passenger Growth (by Regions)’ for the South Asia region’ category, and is based on the total number of passengers carried for the year 2019.
