Discounts for Armed Forces - Terms and Conditions

1. InterGlobe Aviation Limited (“IndiGo”) offers to its eligible defence customers, special discounts of up to 50% off on the base fare and discounted Add-Ons (as defined below) only on domestic sectors for flight bookings (“Armed Forces Discount”), subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
2. The Armed Forces Discount is valid only for serving and retired defense and paramilitary personnel, and their eligible dependents (“Eligible Customers”).
3. IndiGo is offering discounts of up to 50% on base fare for flight bookings made by its Eligible Customers through IndiGo website (www.goindigo.in) or IndiGo mobile app (whether Android or iOS) (“collectively, “Direct Channels”), or through travel agents or third-party websites (“Third Party Channels”). A non-refundable convenience/service fee may be charged for bookings made through Third Party Channels.
4. Additionally, for Eligible Customers making the flight bookings through Direct Channels, IndiGo is offering the following discounts on select ancillary services (“Add-ons”)**:
   • Change Fee: Up to 10% off on Saver fares and up to 15% off on IndiGo business fares (IndiGoStretch and Stretch+)
   • Cancellation Fee: Up to 10% off on Saver fares and up to 15% off on IndiGo business fares (IndiGoStretch and Stretch+) 
   • Fast Forward: Up to 10% off on Fast forward on Saver fares 
   • Bundle Products (6E Prime and 6E Seat & Eat): Up to 10% off on Saver fares 
   • Baggage Allowance: Additional 5 kg free baggage on Saver fares & on IndiGo business fares (Stretch and Stretch+)

   ** Discount on Add-ons vary depending on the sector, flight schedule, journey type.

5. Eligible Customers must present a valid Military ID or Dependent Card at airport entry and/or check in for verification. Failure to provide valid proof shall result in denial of Armed Forces Discount benefits. IndiGo reserves the right to deny boarding or cancel the booking if eligibility cannot be verified. In such cases, the Eligible Customer may make a fresh booking at the prevailing fares, subject to availability.
6. The Armed Forces Discount is valid only for IndiGo operated, multi-city, non-stop and connecting flights and does not apply to codeshare flights.
7. The Armed Forces Discount is valid on IndiGo one-way bookings and round-trip bookings.
8. The Armed Forces Discount is not valid on IndiGo’s group bookings
9. The discount on base fare under this Armed Forces Discount is applicable on IndiGo economy fares (Saver, Family, Flexi Plus, and IndiGo UpFront) and business fares (IndiGoStretch and Stretch+). Where any other promotional scheme is applied, the discount available under this Armed Forces Discount shall be reduced such that the combined discount does not exceed 50%.
10. The Armed Forces Discount is subject to limited inventory, and availability, on a first-come, first-served basis, and may not be available on all flights, sectors, or dates. IndiGo reserves the right to determine availability at its sole discretion.
11. The Armed Forces Discount cannot be clubbed with any other scheme/ promotion /offer offered by IndiGo.
12. All Armed Forces Discount is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, no name changes, and non-redeemable for cash. Changes to the itinerary can be made by paying the applicable change fee and any fare difference between the flight booked under the Armed Forces Discount and the revised flight as per IndiGo’s standard terms and conditions.
13. All bookings made under this Armed Forces Discount are refundable after deducting the applicable cancellation charges.
14. All bookings made under this Armed Forces Discount are subject to IndiGo’s conditions of carriage (available at www.goindigo.in) and government rules and regulations, including visa and health requirements. It is the responsibility of the customer to comply with these regulations. IndiGo shall not be responsible in any manner in the event of denial of boarding basis the non-compliance with these regulations and conditions. 
15. IndiGo's decision with respect to all transactions under the Armed Forces Discount, shall be final and binding on all Eligible Customers.
16. By making an IndiGo flight booking using the Armed Forces Discount, the customer: (i) unconditionally and irrevocably agrees to these terms and conditions; and (ii) consents that all information provided by the customer may be shared by IndiGo with its agents, representatives, service providers, and employees, and may be used to send promotional information pertaining to IndiGo to the customer, in future in accordance with IndiGo’s privacy policy (available at https://www.goindigo.in/information/privacy.html).
17. IndiGo reserves the right to extend, withdraw, terminate or modify this Armed Forces Discount at any time, without prior notice, and without assigning any reasons and without any liability towards any person. The Armed Forces Discount, including the flights booked, is subject to force majeure conditions. Further, IndiGo reserves the right to add, amend or replace all or any of the terms of this Armed Forces Discount, whether similar to this Armed Forces Discount or not, without prior notice and from time to time, without assigning any reasons. 
18. This Armed Forces Discount shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India, and all matters related to this Armed Forces Discount are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
