Seat Select - Preferential Seating
An unbundled service as per Air Transport Circular 04 of 2026 issued by DGCA. These are optional ‘add-on services’ available at an additional charge for convenience of the Customers. Booking of the ticket can be made without opting /availing these services.

Below is the table of charges for preferential seating. In case you don’t wish to purchase a preferred seat, you can always select any free seat available or would be assigned a seat free of charge at the time of check-in at the airport.

The Customers shall be charged the following rates for preferential seating selected under ‘Seat Select’.

* [W],[M],[A] refers to Window, Middle and Aisle section of the aircraft respectively.
* In case of 180 seater aircraft row number 30 is non reclining.
* Seats offer extra legroom of at least 82cm vs non XL rows of average 72cm or under for A320- 180/186 seater and offer extra legroom of at least 92cm for A321 – 222/232/220 Seater (source: LOPA).
* If such service is booked through IndiGo’s call centre, an additional amount as applicable will be charged.
