IndiGo launches Surat as its 56th destination

National, June 29, 2018: After a successful launch of 7 domestic and 2 international destinations since January 2018, IndiGo has announced Surat as its 56th destination. The country’s largest low-cost airline, IndiGo will now operate new flights to and from Surat connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Jaipur respectively.

IndiGo launches maiden flights connecting Lucknow to Pune and Goa

National, 21 June 2018: Marking a milestone of being the first airline to launch Lucknow-Goa and Lucknow-Pune sectors to its network, IndiGo has announced the introduction of its maiden flights effective July 2018. The country’s favorite on-time performer, IndiGo, will operate a daily non-stop flight between Lucknow-Goa-Lucknow and Lucknow-Pune-Lucknow respectively. Continuing the low-cost carrier’s expansion in the domestic skies, IndiGo’s average daily departures will now be 25 flights out of Lucknow to 13 destinations.

IndiGo embraces International Yoga Day

National, June 21, 2018: The country’s coolest airline, IndiGo, is all set to warm up on International Yoga Day, observed worldwide on June 21 every year. 6E employees across 46 domestic airports participated in yoga sessions moderated by globally recognised yoga instructors from Infinite Health Studios. As well as training around the traditional yoga techniques, yogic breathing exercises to musical yoga, these sessions aimed to create more awareness towards embracing fitness as a lifestyle.

IndiGo tops the on-time performance in the Indian Skies yet again

National, June 19, 2018: Following the recent increase in IndiGo flight frequencies for business and leisure travelers across the 6E network, - IndiGo continues to record the highest On Time performance of 80.9% in May 2018, as per the Traffic Report released by Directorate General of Civil Aviation. On Time Performance of the scheduled domestic carriers has been computed for four metros including Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai by the regulator.

IndiGo announces Jorhat and Dhaka as new destinations; Adds 16 new flights to its network

National, June 12, 2018: IndiGo, India’s favorite on-time performer, is further enhancing its customer experience with the launch of Jorhat and Dhaka as its new destinations. Under the UDAN scheme, Jorhat will be the 54th destination on IndiGo’s network. Furthermore, Dhaka will be the 55th destination. Both new services start on August 01, 2018.

IndiGo adds Tuticorin as its 53rd destination; Fares starting INR 2999

National, June 08, 2018: Further spreading its wings under the UDAN scheme through ATR operations - India’s largest low cost carrier, IndiGo, has added Tuticorin to its network. A city of over 411,000 population in Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, Tuticorin, will be the 53rd destination on IndiGo’s network. IndiGo with its 10th ATR aircraft will operate three daily non-stop flights between Chennai and Tuticorin. The low cost carrier will also operate a second daily non-stop flights between Chennai and Calicut. These new flights will be operational effective July 26, 2018.
