81% travellers confident of flying with IndiGo as per a customer survey

National, December 29, 2020: A consumer survey conducted by IndiGo revealed that 81% of the travellers are confident that IndiGo will ensure clean and safe travel for their journey. Factors such as health and wellness of the airline staff (90%), wearing PPE and maintain social distancing by airlines (89%), personal safety kits (87%), and hygiene measures at arrival (75%) are highlighted as important factors by the passengers during air travel. The survey was conducted online in December with 23000 travellers.

IndiGo upgrades plan B options, allows passengers to rebook flights partially from/to transit station

National, December 22, 2020: In line with the vision to provide hassle-free services to its customers, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has upgraded its Plan B options on the website and mobile app. The new additional option will allow a customer whose connecting flight has been cancelled, to either rebook partially - i.e., from origin till transit station or from transit station to destination - or take refund for the unused sector. This enhancement will provide greater flexibility to customers in case of limited options, delays or cancellations, especially owing to fog or other adverse weather conditions.

IndiGo books a hassle-free ride on road for its customers with UrbanDrive

National, December 21, 2020: In line with its vision to provide hassle-free services to its customers, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has partnered with Eco Rent A Cars tech powered platform – Urban Drive to provide car rental services to its customers. Through this collaboration, IndiGo customers will be able to book a chauffeur-driven cab service across 60 cities which are serving 42 airports on IndiGo domestic network: with options of hourly, intercity and airport transfer packages. Customers will be able book this service by visiting IndiGo’s website or app.

IndiGo to disburse customer credit shells and refunds by January 31, 2021

National, December 07, 2020: Since the resumption of operations in May, IndiGo has been rapidly refunding amounts owed to customers whose flights had been cancelled during the lockdown. The airline has already processed close to INR 1000cr of refunds, which is approximately 90% of the total amount owed to our customers. IndiGo is committed to complete payment against all pending credit shells latest by January 31, 2021.

IndiGo on a strong recovery path; resumes operation of 1000 daily flights

National, December 02, 2020: Progressing towards strong recovery on the back of strengthening confidence in air travel, IndiGo, India’s largest airline, touched a milestone of operation of 1000 daily flights to and from 59 domestic and 06 international destinations. The flights include scheduled commercial operations and air bubble flights. IndiGo has been operating these flights while adhering to all the precautionary measures, ensuring a safe and hassle-free travel experience on-board a lean, clean flying machine.
