Post lockdown, first batch of IndiGo cadet pilots from Insight Aviation depart for training in South Africa

National, October 23, 2020: On the back of steadily improving operational capacities, the first batch of cadet pilots departed for training as part of the IndiGo Cadet programme to South Africa on October 22, 2020. The batch of 19 IndiGo cadets was the first to travel outside India following the COVID-19- induced lockdown. This group from Insight Aviation, IndiGo’s training partner, will join previous cadets currently under training at Insight Aviation’s FTO partner, 43 Air School, in Port Alfred, South Africa. The IndiGo Cadet programme is an initiative to bring the change in the airline industry in India and providing aspiring pilots with a life-changing opportunity.

Join Durga Puja festive celebrations with ‘India by IndiGo’ campaign

National, October 22, 2020: To bring about festive cheer, India’s leading carrier, IndiGo, kickstarted ‘India by IndiGo’ campaign, a cultural expedition to celebrate the diverse Indian culture with festivals lined over the next few months. The campaign, which began with the colourful festival of Durga Puja, will continue to spread vigour and cheerfulness among its customers, with Diwali and Christmas in November and December, respectively. IndiGo is celebrating Durga Puja at six of its stations including Kolkata, Silchar, Guwahati, Bagdogra, Agartala and Jorhat from October 21 to October 27.
