IndiGo announces unlimited free tickets for Avani Lekhara & Sumit Antil for a period of one year

National, August 31, 2021: India’s leading carrier – IndiGo, today announced that it will offer unlimited free travel to the two ‘Gold Medallist’ Avani Lekhara & Sumit Antil for a period of one year. This comes in recognition of Avani Lekhara winning a gold medal in the women's 10m Air Rifle Standing event at the Tokyo Paralympics. Sumit Antil on the other hand won his gold medal in the men's javelin F64 event with a world record throw of 68.55 metres. This is valid on both domestic and international routes, starting September 1, 2021, until August 31, 2022.

IndiGo strengthens domestic network with 8 new flights, enhances connectivity from Delhi, Lucknow, and Jaipur

National, August 26, 2021:In line with its commitment to enhance domestic connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading airline today launched 8 new daily flights. The airline will introduce new flights between Indore-Lucknow and Lucknow-Jaipur while enhancing the connectivity between Delhi, Dehradun, and Lucknow. IndiGo will operate new flights between Delhi-Lucknow, Lucknow-Jaipur, and IndoreLucknow effective September 01, while the flights connecting Delhi-Dehradun will commence from September 05, 2021.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Recommences Hyderabad - Malé Flight Service

National, August 22, 2021:GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL), today recommenced direct flight service from Hyderabad to Malé, Maldives. IndiGo has started this new route from Hyderabad. The aircraft took off from Hyderabad to Malé amidst much fanfare at the airport. The new route was inaugurated with lamp lighting at the Jabalpur airport as well as Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi. IndiGo expands regional presence, announces Gwalior as its 70th domestic destination

The airline will operate ATR aircraft for direct flights from Gwalior to Delhi and Indore, w.e.f September 01, 2021.
