IndiGo resumes flights to Singapore under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)

National, November 24, 2021: India’s leading airline, IndiGo, today announced the resumption of flights to Singapore under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) from November 29, 2021. Following incorporation of air bubble between India and Singapore, IndiGo has been allocated a total of 3618 seats per week, of which 1624 seats will be operated on the Chennai – Singapore route under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL). The rest of the capacity will be utilised under non-VTL conditions for travel to and from Singapore.

IndiGoReach, IndiGo’s CSR arm releases its Coffee Table Book

National, November 18, 2021: IndiGoReach, IndiGo’s CSR arm today released its Coffee Table Book, which is a collection of stories and learnings from the WATER (Women collectives led Action Towards Environment Rejuvenation) Project. The book was released in presence of Ms. Nancy Sahay - CEO, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society and Prof. Ramesh Sharan - Noted Economist and Ex Vice Chancellor - Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand along with various dignitaries, scholars and women involved in the project. The coffee table book comprises of stories of resilient women from rural Jharkhand. The project implemented in the state is a result of partnership between IndiGoReach and the NGO - Pradan.

6E bites back on board!

National, November 17, 2021: India’s leading airline, IndiGo, today announced the resumption of its meals on board. The decision was taken after Civil Aviation Ministry allowed airlines to serve meals on all domestic flights. The carriers were not allowed to serve inflight meals, which have duration of less than two hours, since April 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

IndiGo reinforces regional network with new flights from Bhubaneshwar

National, November 02, 2021:In-line with its vision to strengthen regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, today symbolically launched the new direct flights between Bhubaneshwar and Jaipur, in the presence of Honourable Union Minister for Railway Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw (virtually), Honourable Minister of Education Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan (virtually) amongst other eminent dignitaries. The new route was inaugurated with lamp lighting at the Bhubaneshwar airport. The flight will commence operations effective November 02, 2021.

IndiGo strengthens regional connectivity, commences 6 new flights from Kanpur

National, November 01, 2021:In-line with its vision to strengthen regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, today initiated 6 new flights between Kanpur and Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, effective November 01, 2021. Kanpur is IndiGo’s 71st domestic destination. IndiGo’s operations from the new station were inaugurated with lamp lighting at the Kanpur airport as well as Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi.
