National, December 26, 2023: IndiGo, India’s preferred carrier, has announced direct connectivity between Mumbai and Ayodhya, effective January 15, 2024. These daily flights will provide travellers, direct accessibility to Ayodhya making their journey smoother and shorter. Earlier, IndiGo announced inaugural operations from the soon-to-be-inaugurated Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya from Delhi w.e.f. December 30, 2023. Subsequently, commercial operations from Delhi to Ayodhya from January 06, 2024, and from Ahmedabad to Ayodhya will commence from January 11, 2024. This expansion reinforces IndiGo's commitment to providing customers with improved and direct flight choices to and from Ayodhya, fostering accessibility, travel, and commerce in the region.

IndiGo to add Ayodhya as the 86th domestic destination to its network

National, December 13, 2023: IndiGo, India’s preferred carrier, is delighted to add Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh, as the 86th domestic destination and 118th overall destination, in the 6E network. IndiGo will also have the honour of being the first carrier to operate from the soon to be inaugurated Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya. The inaugural flight from Delhi will arrive in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023. Subsequently, commercial operationsfor a direct flight will commence between Delhi and Ayodhya from January 06, 2024, followed by tri-weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya from January 11, 2024.

IndiGo strengthens connectivity to Thailand with over 25% increase in weekly flights

National, December 12, 2023: IndiGo, India's preferred carrier, is thrilled to announce the addition of flights between Mumbai and Phuket and the resumption of operations between Bengaluru and Phuket. The addition of these flights will further enhance connectivity between India and Thailand. Given the immense popularity of Thailand as a preferred destination among Indians, IndiGo is introducing additional flights between Mumbai-Phuket, w.e.f. January 05, 2024, and between Bengaluru-Phuket, w.e.f. February 28, 2024.

IndiGo takes off from Gondia, the 85th domestic destination in the 6E network

National, December 01, 2023: IndiGo, India's preferred airline, has commenced operations to and from Gondia, Maharashtra, effective December 01, 2023. Gondia is now the 85th domestic destination and 117th overall destination within the extensive 6E network. The new connection between Gondia and Hyderabad aims to enhance interstate accessibility and substantially reduce travel time between the two cities.
