National, May 24, 2023: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has announced 6 new flights including exclusive connections between Hyderabad-Nashik, Indore-Nashik, and additional frequency on Ahmedabad-Nashik route from June 01, 2023. Earlier this year, IndiGo had started direct flights from Nashik, the 77th domestic and 103rd overall destination in the 6E network. These new flights and frequencies are being added in view of the high demand for travel this summer season and will further enhance accessibility, while promoting tourism in the city.

IndiGo has commenced daily direct operations between BhubaneswarMumbai from May 19 and Ahmedabad-Srinagar from August 11, 2023. The airline will also resume operations between Mumbai and Port Blair, w.e.f. October 01, 2023, to add capacity during the leisure travel season for Andamans. These flights will strengthen domestic connectivity to the commercial capitals of Gujarat and Maharashtra.

IndiGo announces 6 new direct routes, increasing accessibility between India and the Middle East

National, May 19, 2023: IndiGo, India's leading carrier, has announced new direct flights between several Indian and Middle Eastern cities. The newly introduced routes include Bengaluru-Dubai, Kochi-Bahrain, Lucknow-Dammam commencing from June 01 and Ahmedabad-Jeddah, effective from August 11, 2023. The airline has also announced seasonal additional flights between Chennai – Dammam and Kochi – Dammam in view of the high demand for travel to Middle East from India during the summer season. IndiGo will be the first Indian carrier to operate direct flights between Bengaluru-Dubai, Kochi-Bahrain; and the only airline to provide daily direct connectivity between Kochi-Dammam, Lucknow-Dammam, Chennai- Dammam and Ahmedabad-Jeddah cutting down travel time.

National, May 17, 2023: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier has inducted its second Boeing 777 aircraft, on damp lease, which will operate to and from Mumbai- Istanbul route, effective today, May 17, 2023. The Boeing 777 aircraft has the seating capacity of 400 passengers in a dual class configuration with 24 business and 376 economy class. IndiGo has been operating its first wide-body- Boeing 777 aircraft on the Delhi- Istanbul route, which had started from February 01, 2023. These aircraft have been introduced to cater to the rising demand for international travel from India.

IndiGo operates 11 special flights from Imphal between May 6 and May 9, 2023

National, May 09, 2023: IndiGo has operated 9 flights from Imphal between May 6 and May 8, 2023 to increase capacity for travel to Kolkata, Guwahati, Agartala, and Hyderabad. The airline will add 2 additional flights on May 9, 2023 from Imphal to Patna and Kolkata. IndiGo is operating these flights with A320 and ATR aircraft. The airline continues to operate regular flights from Imphal to Kolkata, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Agartala and Shillong. IndiGo also waived off the rescheduling and cancellation charges on all flights to and from Imphal from May 4 to May 11, 2023. The airline is closely liaising with the authorities to offer further additional flights as needed.
