What is the IndiGo Wallet?
The IndiGo Wallet is a digital wallet that stores eligible credits issued by IndiGo, such as compensation vouchers, service recovery credits, refunds, promotional credits, and other approved wallet credits. These credits can be used for eligible purchases on the IndiGo website and mobile application.
Who is eligible for the IndiGo Wallet?
The IndiGo Wallet is available to all registered IndiGo customers. Wallet access is linked to the customer's registered mobile number and secured through OTP authentication.
How can I access my IndiGo Wallet?
You may access your Wallet by logging into your IndiGo account using your registered mobile number and OTP verification.
How can I check my IndiGo Wallet credit?
You may view the following through the IndiGo website or mobile application:
- Available credits
- Used credits
- Expired credits
- Transaction history
- Expiry details of wallet credits
What can I use my IndiGo Wallet credits for?
The Wallet credits can be used for:
- Flight bookings
- Ancillary purchases
- Seat selection
- Baggage purchase
- Fare difference payments
- Other eligible IndiGo products and services (excluding hotels, cabs, sightseeing activities, experiences, shop, and gift cards)
Can I use the IndiGo Wallet along with another payment method?
Yes, the Wallet credits may be used fully, if the available credits are sufficient, or partially along with another supported payment method. The remaining amount can be paid through UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking, or other supported payment methods.
How do I know when an IndiGo Wallet credit has been added?
In case a credit is added, you will be notified through applicable IndiGo channels, such as email, notification, or your Wallet transaction history, once an eligible credit is added to your Wallet.
How long is my IndiGo Wallet credit valid?
Each Wallet credit carries its own validity period. The current minimum validity is 1 year from the date of issuance unless specified otherwise.
Will I receive reminders before my IndiGo Wallet expires?
Yes. Expiry reminders will be sent:
- 90 days before expiry
- 30 days before expiry
- 7 days before expiry
What happens when an IndiGo Wallet credit expires?
Once the IndiGo Wallet credit expires:
- The expired amount becomes unavailable for use.
- Expired credits cannot be reactivated or utilized unless specifically approved under applicable IndiGo policies.
Can I transfer my IndiGo Wallet credits to another customer?
IndiGo Wallet credits are strictly non-transferable and can only be used by the registered wallet holder.
Can I withdraw IndiGo Wallet credits into my bank account?
Wallet credits cannot be withdrawn, uncredited, or transferred to any bank account or third-party wallet.
What happens if my booking was paid using both IndiGo Wallet and another payment method?
For split payments:
- The IndiGo Wallet-funded portion will be refunded back to the wallet.
- The remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment source, subject to applicable refund rules.
How long do IndiGo Wallet refunds take?
Refunds credited back to the Wallet are generally faster than bank or card refunds.
Can I use my IndiGo Wallet for bookings made through travel agents?
The wallet can only be redeemed on IndiGo-owned channels such as the IndiGo website and mobile application.
Can I view my transaction history?
Yes. Transaction history includes:
- Credit and debit details
- Date of transaction
- Amount
- Reference Number
- PNR (where applicable)
- Expiry date
- Remaining credits
What should I do if I do not receive my IndiGo Wallet credit?
Customers may contact IndiGo Customer Support and provide the following details for assistance:
- PNR
- Reference Number
- Registered mobile number
- Relevant communication received from IndiGo
How is compensation credited to my IndiGo Wallet?
Compensation is issued as a Travel Voucher with a unique voucher number and credited to your Wallet for redemption, subject to customer's consent. The voucher number serves as the record.
