National, November 23, 2022: In-line with its vision to enhance international connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier has announced the launch of connecting flights via Turkey to Portugal and Switzerland, through its codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines. These new routes and frequencies, effective from November 23, 2022, will offer new options and more capacity for customers exploring travel between India and Europe in the upcoming holiday season.
National, November 23, 2022: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier operated its first international A321 P2F freighter flight between Kolkata and Yangon on November 22, 2022. The freighter aircraft carried general CarGo with the payload of more than 19,000 kg. The freighter recently carried CarGo between Delhi and Mumbai.
National, November 23, 2022: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier inaugurated its second maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at the Kempegowda International Airport on November 17, 2022. The 13,000- sq mts hangar is built on five acres of land and is the second largest maintenance facility at the Bengaluru Airport. IndiGo has signed a 20-year pact with Bengaluru International Airport Ltd. for the facility.

The flights will commence from December 08, 2022, to cater to the rising demand for travel to Dhaka.
National, November 15, 2022: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier has commenced operations of its first A321 Freighter aircraft between Delhi and Mumbai, effective November 15, 2022. The aircraft converted from passenger jet to a full freighter configuration will be used for general freight on the inaugural Delhi- Mumbai flight, while carrying general and e-commerce CarGo on the return leg. These inaugural flights will carry a payload of more than 20 tons on each leg.

The addition of this new route from Hubballi will enhance connectivity between Northern and Southern India.
National, November 09, 2022: In-line with its vision to enhance connectivity in the northeast, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, announced Hollongi, Itanagar as its 75th domestic and 101 st overall destination in the 6E network. The airline will commence flights between Mumbai-Kolkata-Hollongi effective November 28, 2022, from the newly opened Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar. It also announced a second weekly frequency between Kolkata and Hollongi commencing on December 03, 2022.
National, November 09, 2022: IndiGo’s CSR arm, IndiGoReach in partnership with Grameen Sahara has been working towards the development of a socio-economic ecosystem to support 1,670 tribal women across 24 villages in Assam and Meghalaya. The program empowered women farmers to better promote spices, mainly turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and king chilli, to substantially increase their annual income. These women hail from the villages in the Assam-Meghalaya border areas in Kamrup and Ri Bhoi districts.
