IndiGo Launches Direct Flights Between Guwahati and Deoghar
National, 11 July 2026: IndiGo, India's preferred airline, has announced direct flights between Guwahati and Deoghar, effective 4 August 2026. The new service will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays, strengthening connectivity between Northeast India and the spiritual destination in Jharkhand. Customers can plan and book their travel through IndiGo’s official website www.goIndiGo.in, mobile app, or authorised travel partners.
IndiGo is the only airline connecting Deoghar, with direct flights to Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Home to the revered Baba Baidyanath Dham Jyotirlinga, the city attracts millions of devotees each year and is steadily emerging as a key tourism centre in eastern India. The addition of Guwahati—an important regional hub for commerce, education and tourism, and the gateway to Northeast India—will not only enhance connectivity for pilgrims and tourists but also help foster greater economic and cultural exchange between the two regions.
