IndiGo Switch

‘IndiGo Switch’ is an ‘add‑on service’ offered by IndiGo. Under this service, Customer will receive a 100% waiver of applicable change fee when modifying or rescheduling a Booking within the below prescribed ‘change window’ and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (IndiGo Switch’).

1. Eligibility:
   1. IndiGo Switch service is available only when purchased with ‘Saver fare, Family fare, return fare, and sale fare’, and is not available with any other fare type.
   2. IndiGo Switch must be selected and paid at the time of Booking. It cannot be purchased after the Booking is completed.
2. Booking channel – IndiGo Switch is only available at the time of Booking and exclusively through IndiGo's website (goindigo.in) and mobile application.
3. IndiGo Switch Fee- The IndiGo Switch Fee starts from INR 399 for domestic flights and INR 699 for international flights plus any applicable convenience fee.
4. Change Window: Customers may modify or change their booking once, up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure for both domestic and international flights. Any changes made within 72 hours of the scheduled departure shall be subject to the standard and applicable ‘change fees for Saver Fare’.
5. Exlcusions:
   IndiGo Switch cannot be purchased within 72 hours of scheduled departure for both Domestic and international flights.
6. Round Trips, Connecting Flights and Multi-Sector Booking: For round trips, connecting flights and multi-sector Bookings under a single PNR, IndiGo Switch service applies to the entire PNR and not to individual sectors, i.e., IndiGo Switch must apply to all Flight Segments within the itinerary. However, redemption shall be on per journey basis and only once per journey, any Customers may modify any sector of the journey in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Refund on IndiGo Switch Service:
   1. IndiGo provides a “Look-in” option for a period of 48 (forty-eight) hours from the time of Booking, applicable only to tickets booked directly on the IndiGo’s website. During this period, Customers may cancel or amend the Booking without change fee. However, any fare difference between the Flight Tariff of the original Booking and the revised Booking shall be payable by the Customer.
   2. This facility shall not be available where the scheduled departure is within 7 (seven) days for domestic flights or within 15 (fifteen) days for international flights from the date of booking.       Note: If any Flight Date Changes are undertaken through IndiGo’s call centre, an additional fee of INR 500 per person per sector will be levied by IndiGo.

8. Non Refundability:
   1. The IndiGo Switch Fee including any convenience fee, is non-refundable, except where IndiGo cancels a flight due to reasons beyond its control and the Customer chooses to receive full refund.
   2. In case of a ‘No-Show’ (failure to check-in or report at the boarding gate within stipulated timelines) and failure to change/modify the Booking, the standard ‘No-Show’ policy shall apply. The IndiGo Switch benefits shall be forfeited, and no refund of the IndiGo Switch Fee will be provided.
   3. The IndiGo Switch Fee cannot be carried forward, transferred, or adjusted against any future booking or credit shell.
9. Payment restrictions: The IndiGo Switch add-on cannot be purchased for by using IndiGo Bluchips, reward points, voucher points, Credit Points, promo balances or similar instruments.
10. Conditions of Carriage: Except for the Terms and Conditions provided herein, all other terms and conditions shall be subject to IndiGo’s Conditions of Carriage available on IndiGo’s website. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other set of terms, these Terms and Conditions will prevail as regards to ‘IndiGo Switch’ service.
11. Right to Withdraw: IndiGo reserves the right to withdraw or modify these terms, at any time, at its absolute discretion, without assigning any reason. The decision of IndiGo in this regard shall be final and binding.
12. Governing Law: These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India, and all disputes related to IndiGo Switch service, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.
13. Data Protection: Any personal data of the Customers which is collected or processed during the booking process of IndiGo Switch shall be done in accordance with IndiGo’s Privacy Policy.
14. By purchasing this IndiGo Switch service, the Customer explicitly agree that they have read and understood the above-mentioned Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
