Terms and Conditions for purchasing prepaid excess baggage for International Connecting Flights:
- Excess baggage should to be booked at least 6 hours before the scheduled departure.
- The domestic flight should be within 48 hours of your international flight or 48 hours after completion of institutional quarantine.
- Passengers should produce relevant international travel documents or institutional quarantine release certificate, respectively, at the time of check-in failing which IndiGo will charge excess baggage as per applicable airport rates.

For International bookings, customers can make any changes or cancellations free of charge when the booking is made through the IndiGo website or mobile application, provided the request is raised within 48 hours of booking and the flight is scheduled at least 15 days
i. Allowance of check-in baggage will be displayed at the time of making the booking.
ii. Checked-in Baggage allowance for 6E*/TK (IN-US) flights: (6E marketed)

- IndiGo allows free Checked-in Baggage up to 2 (two) pieces each weighing not more than 23kgs per person/Customer for its Economy Class flights operating to US markets (i.e., New York City, Boston, Chicago, Washington) under Codeshare arrangement. In case, such single (1) piece weighs above 23 kg per person/Customer, IndiGo will levy Excess Baggage charges as set out under point no. (iii) below.
- In case, a Customer/passenger wish to travel with more than 2 (two) piece of Checked-in Baggage, IndiGo will levy an “Additional Piece” charges as set out in the table in point no. (iii) below.
iii. Excess baggage charges for passengers travelling on 6E Marketed and TK Operated (IN-US) flights: IndiGo will levy a per piece excess baggage charge for each Additional Piece of Checked-in Baggage as mentioned in table below:

**IndiGo does not permit any single (1) piece of Checked-in Baggage weighing more than 32 kg. To carry any such Baggage, Additional Piece Charges along with Overweight Charges will be levied on the Checked-in Baggage.
iv. Excess baggage charges:
For customers travelling on 6E Marketed and partner operated flights, the excess baggage will be charged as below.
a) For journey commencing from India (except US codeshare sectors), excess baggage charges will levy as per IndiGo’s standard rates listed in the table below.
