Don't wait as it's time for Kuwait! Yes, you read it right! We are once again open to flights between India and Kuwait. Before you make a booking, please note the travel criteria and other regulations for a seamless journey.

Travel criteria

  • For customers from India to Kuwait

    1. Following customer categories shall be allowed to travel on flights from India to Kuwait
      1. Employees of Kuwait MOH (Ministry of Health) and their first-degree relatives
      2. Employees of private medical sector who have valid residency to return to the State of Kuwait, list of such employees are a part of Kuwait DGCA Circular Ref2020_104
    2. Customers are required to be in possession of the following documents enabling them to accepted on the flight
      1. For Ministry of Health Staff (MOH Staff) and Private Sector Medical Employees
        1. OK To Board Comment is inserted in the PNR
        2. Customer is in possession of his/her valid residency permit/visa to enter the State of Kuwait (Visa stamp might not be available but Civil ID is Mandatory)
        3. Customer is in possession of his/her valid Civil ID which can be either in physical or digital state
        4. Customer is in possession of his/her company ID
      2. For First Degree family members of MOH Staff only (Spouse/Children), in addition to the above below mentioned also required
        1. Passport copy (Front and back Page of the MOH staff with the Family Members name Endorsed)
        2. Valid Civil Id copy (Front and back of the MOH staff)
        3. Supporting documents which prove the relationship (if any)
        4. Note that the family members sponsor name might not be of the MOH Staff
      3. All Customers must carry a negative PCR certificate in printed form, from a government-approved laboratory in India (ICMR) or a Certified designated laboratory which is available on https://www.icmr.gov.in/ issued no more than 72 hours before arrival into Kuwait
      4. All customers upon arrival shall undergo mandatory 14 days home quarantine
      5. All customers must download and register on the SHLONIK app at origin

      6. All customers must fill up two forms and submit upon arrival to the authorities

      7. Random customers up to ten percent on every flight shall undergo PCR test upon arrival into Kuwait
    For customers from Kuwait to India
    1. Eligibility to travel to India: Stranded Indian nationals; All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders holding Kuwaiti passports, and Kuwaiti nationals (including diplomats) holding valid visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30.06.20202.
    2. Customers departing from Kuwait are required to download and register themselves on Mosafer App before reaching the airport.

    4. As per extant government regulations, customers are permitted to travel to India from the United Kingdom only on a direct flight. Customers shall not be allowed to travel to India through a transit airport of another country. Hence, all customers travelling from the United Kingdom to India via any other/ third country from where IndiGo operates its flight to India, shall not be permitted to undertake travel on such IndiGo operated flight. All liabilities, penalties, costs, losses arising out of such refusal of carriage by IndiGo or proposed travel, shall be borne solely by the customer

  • For customers from Foreign Airport to West Bengal

    1. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to submit self health declaration form on Air Suvidha Portal
    2. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to upload COVID-19 negative RT-PCR on Air Suvidha Portal. Test should have been taken within 72 hours of the departure
    3. All customers including children and infants are required to submit online declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and to abide by the decision of the government authority to undergo home quarantine/self-health monitoring for 14 days or as warranted
    4. Exemption from RT-PCR requirement shall be permitted only incase of death in the family and must be applied online at least 72 hours before departure on the Air Suvidha Portal
    5. All customers shall be required present online SDF/RT-PCR exemption approval to the health authorities upon arrival
    6. All customers including children and infants shall be required to be in possession of physical or digital copy of the acknowledgement of their self health declaration form submitted on the Air Suvidha Portal along with their RT-PCR report failing which they can be denied boarded at the origin station
    7. All customers including children and infants originating or transiting through United Kingdom, Europe or Middle East shall adhere to below in addition to the above
      1. Undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring or take onward connecting flights to final destination within India
    8. In addition to the above, all customers including children and infants originating from United Kingdom, South Africa or Brazil shall adhere to below as well
      1. In case the customer's journey ends at first port of entry into India, they need to undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring. They are not required to wait for test results.
      2. Incase of onward connection, customers shall have to wait for the RT-PCR test results. Onward journey shall be permitted only if the test result is negative
  • For customers from Foreign Airport to Karnataka

    1. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to submit self health declaration form on Air Suvidha Portal
    2. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to upload COVID-19 negative RT-PCR on Air Suvidha Portal. Test should have been taken within 72 hours of the departure

    3. All customers including children and infants are required to submit online declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and to abide by the decision of the government authority to undergo home quarantine/self-health monitoring for 14 days or as warranted
    4. Exemption from RT-PCR requirement shall be permitted only incase of death in the family and must be applied online at least 72 hours before departure on the Air Suvidha Portal
    5. All customers shall be required present online SDF/RT-PCR exemption approval to the health authorities upon arrival
    6. All customers shall be required to be in possession of four physical copies of the acknowledgement of their self health declaration form submitted on the Air Suvidha Portal along with their RT-PCR report failing which they can be denied boarded at the origin station
    7. All customers must mandatorily fill up below forms and submit upon arrival to the authorities if not in possession of four physical copies of the acknowledgement of their self health declaration form submitted on the Air Suvidha Portal
      1. Four copies of Indian APHO form to be filled and submitted to officials on arrival
    8. All customers including children and infants originating or transiting through United Kingdom, Europe or Middle East shall adhere to below in addition to the above
      1. Undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring or take onward connecting flights to final destination within India
    9. In addition to the above, all customers including children and infants originating from United Kingdom, South Africa or Brazil shall adhere to below as well
      1. In case the customer's journey ends at first port of entry into India, they need to undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring. They are not required to wait for test results.

    1. All customers are mandatorily required to obtain ePass through https://tnepass.tnega.org/#/user/pass
    2. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to submit self health declaration form on Air Suvidha Portal
    3. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to upload COVID-19 negative RT-PCR on Air Suvidha Portal. Test should have been taken within 72 hours of the departure
    4. All customers including children and infants are required to submit online declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and to abide by the decision of the government authority to undergo home quarantine/self-health monitoring for 14 days or as warranted
    5. Exemption from RT-PCR requirement shall be permitted only incase of death in the family and must be applied online at least 72 hours before departure on the Air Suvidha Portal

  • For customers from Foreign Airport to Maharashtra

    1. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to submit self health declaration form on Air Suvidha Portal
    2. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to upload COVID-19 negative RT-PCR on Air Suvidha Portal. Test should have been taken within 72 hours of the departure
    3. All customers including children and infants are required to submit online declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and to abide by the decision of the government authority to undergo home quarantine/self-health monitoring for 14 days or as warranted
    4. Exemption from RT-PCR requirement shall be permitted only incase of death in the family and must be applied online at least 72 hours before departure on the Air Suvidha Portal
    5. All customers shall be required present online SDF/RT-PCR exemption approval to the health authorities upon arrival
    6.     8. In addition to the above, all customers including children and infants originating from United Kingdom, South Africa or Brazil shall adhere to below as well
      1. In case the customer's journey ends at first port of entry into India, they need to undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring. They are not required to wait for test results.
      2. Incase of onward connection, customers shall have to wait for the RT-PCR test results. Onward journey shall be permitted only if the test result is negative
    9. Customers arriving into the city of Mumbai from UK, European and Middle East Countries shall have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine at their own cost. Such customers shall not undergo a RT-PCR test upon arrival however they will have to undergo the test during the 5th to 7th day of their quarantine at their own cost. If found negative customers shall be allowed to proceed to 7 days mandatory home quarantine.
      1. Customers arriving into Mumbai taking onwards flights to states/cities outside the state of Maharashtra shall not be quarantined in Mumbai provided they are in possession of a COVID-negative certificate (RT-PCR) issued within 72 hrs of the departure and will have to undergo a RT-PCR test upn arrival into Mumbai and await 6 hrs for the result to proceed further to their final destination
      2. Customers arriving into Mumbai and taking onwards flights to cities within the state of Maharashtra shall be mandatorily quarantined in Mumbai
    10. Following customers are exempted from institutional quarantine upon arrival into Mumbai
      1. Customers above the age of 65
      2. Women in advanced stages of pregnancy
      3. Parent (and the child) accompanied by a child that is less than 5 years of age
      4. Customers requiring medical attention for serious ailments such as cancer, cerebral palsy, physical disability. Such customers have to produce supporting medical documents
      5. Extreme case of family distress i.e., father/mother/son/daughter in critical condition, severe accident in family, death of an immediate family member. Such customers have to produce supporting documents
      6. Customers who have been administered both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Such customers have to produce the certificates corresponding to both the doses and a self declaration in the prescribed format
      7. Medical professionals travelling for surgery/attending critical patients on producing proof from hospital where medical services are to be provided

    Note: The above mentioned categories of customers shall be considered for exemption from institutional quarantine on producing the supporting documents required. They shall however have to strictly follow the regulations laid out and shall be liable for appropriate action for breach of the same

  • Other Indian states

    For customers from Foreign Airport to other Indian States

    1. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to submit self health declaration form on Air Suvidha Portal
    2. All customers including children and infants shall be mandatorily required to upload COVID-19 negative RT-PCR on Air Suvidha Portal. Test should have been taken within 72 hours of the departure
    3. All customers including children and infants are required to submit online declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and to abide by the decision of the government authority to undergo home quarantine/self-health monitoring for 14 days or as warranted
    4. Exemption from RT-PCR requirement shall be permitted only incase of death in the family and must be applied online at least 72 hours before departure on the Air Suvidha Portal
    5. All customers shall be required present online SDF/RT-PCR exemption approval to the health authorities upon arrival
