      A tourist visa can be obtained in two forms, based on your nationality:

      • e-visa for tourism purposes
      • Turkish Sticker Visa for tourists

      Note: If you are eligible for an e-visa, you do not need to apply for a Turkish Sticker Visa.

      • Completed visa application form
      • Valid passport with at least six months of validity
      • At least two passport size photographs

    • Student Visa

      This visa permits students to enter, and temporarily stay, in Turkey for educational purposes. Student visa allows a foreigner to intern or attend a course in an educational institution. This is applicable for all international students, except those from the Northern Republic of Cyprus, studying in Turkish universities.

      • Completely filled Turkish student visa application form
      • Valid passport with at least six months validity

    The latest time to apply for an e-visa is in 48 hours prior to your trip. But, it is best to avoid this as the process may take time. It is ideal to begin your visa application in advance.

    Can I apply for a new e-visa without leaving Turkey?

    No, to apply for a new visa, you will need to leave the country. You cannot apply for an e-visa while in Turkey. However, if you meet the criteria for a residence permit, you can apply for that through the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.

    Can I apply for Turkey visa if my passport is nearing its expiry date?

    No, your passport must have at least 60 days of validity in order to get Turkey visa, e-visa, or residence permit.
