1. The Vaclav Havel Airport Prague

Out of all the airports, the Vaclav Havel Airport or the Prague Airport is the most used one in Czechia. It was earlier called the Prague-Ruzyne Airport and got its current name only in 2012 after the first president of Czechia - Vaclav Havel. The airport was opened in 1937, replacing the Kbely Airport and is located at a distance of 18 km from the city centre of Prague. 2. Brno-Turany Airport

The Brno-Turany Airport ranks as the second busiest airport in Czechia after the Prague Airport. It is located at a distance of 8 km from the city centre of Brno, During the peak period of Communism, the Brno-Turany Airport was used by the Czechoslovak Air Force, however, it resumed the civil operations in 1989. The Czech Airport Authority is responsible for the management of the Brno-Turany Airport.

3. Ostrava Airport

Another important airport in the Czech Republic is the Ostrava Airport. It is officially known as the Leos Janacek Airport Ostrava after the famous Czech composer.
