- Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is an ex-situ Panda conservation centre that researches Pandas. The research centre is famous among visitors and has received several awards for being one of the prominent Panda research centres. It is located at a distance of about 30 km from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
- Mount Qingcheng: Mount Qingcheng, a UNESCO world heritage site, is considered one of the originating places of Taoism. There are Tao temples spread over different parts of the mountain, as many as 11. It will take not less than a whole day to visit all the popular sights of the mountain as it contains more than 100 amazing attractions.
- People’s Park: Renmin Park or People’s Park as it is called, is one of the oldest public parks in the city. The park is located in the city centre. It is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts. Chengdu Tianfu International Airport
Chengdu International Airport (IATA: CTU) is one of the international airports in China. It is officially known as Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. The airport is located at a distance of about 16 kilometres from downtown Chengdu. It is one of the main China airports in Chengdu that operates international flights. The airport is connected by trains, buses, and taxis. It will take you around 40 minutes to reach the city centre from the airport via bus.
The airport has two terminals and each terminal offers free wifi and other common amenities like currency exchange service, lost and found, and ATM.
