1. The Ben Gurion International Airport

The former name of the airport was the Lod Airport and it was in 1973 when the airport got its current name after Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion. The Ben Gurion International Airport completed its construction in 1934 and it was a year later when the airport started to offer commercial flights to different destinations. 2. Ramon International Airport

The Ramon International Airport is only a recent addition to the list of airports in Israel as it was opened for commercial use only in 2019. Also known as the Eilat-Ramon Airport, the airport got its current name after Israel's first astronaut, Ilan Ramon. It is ranked as the second busiest airport in Israel. It serves the Haifa and Tel Aviv region of Israel and was built replacing the former Ovda Airport and Eilat Airport.

3. Haifa Airport

The Haifa Airport is a small international airport in Israel that is also known as the U Michaeli Airport to honour Uri Michaelli who was the founder of the Jewish aviation industry. The airport is mostly used for commercial operations and on rare occasions serves as a military airfield. It serves the Tel Aviv and Eilat region in Israel.
