2. Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Tan Son Nhat International Airport is located in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. It spreads over an area of 850 hectares and is thus deemed the largest airport in Vietnam. The airport is also the busiest airport of Vietnam that is served by a number of airlines, including IndiGo. It even ranked as the 25th busiest airport in the world according to 2020 world rankings. 

The Tan Son Nhat International Airport started its journey as a military airport and was used by the U.S. Air Force and even by the Republic of Vietnam Air Force. And it was only in 2004 when the first international flight was offered in this airport. The distance of the airport from the main city centre is 8 km and with the provision of convenient cabs and taxis, the Tan Son Nhat International Airport becomes easily accessible.

3. Cat Bi International Airport

The Cat Bi International Airport is located in the Hai Phong province of Vietnam. The airport on several occasions has operated as a military airport such as during the Indochina War and Vietnam War. This airport has mostly domestic flights to offer and passengers can get only a limited number of international flights from here.

4. Da Nang International Airport

5. Vinh International Airport

The Vinh International Airport mainly serves the Northern province of Vietnam and is located in the heart of Vinh.
