Dimapur
Dimapur is one of the most important cities in all of Northeast. Being the largest city of the Northeast, Dimapur in Nagaland is the important commercial centre. It is located along the borders of Assam and along the banks of Dhansiri river.

Take a stroll along the banks of the Dhansiri river, or visit the 10th-century Kanchari ruins along with many other places of historical value. Nichuguard village and Kuki Dalang village are small villages up to where tourists can trek from Dimapur itself, not very far away. The scenic beauty of these routes is alone extremely beautiful with a view to die for. Evening can be spent taking a stroll along the local market places that offer various tribal and local antiques.
