Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal was built during the rule of the Nayak Dynasty and lies within the vicinity of the Meenakshi Amman Temple. This palace boasts of beautiful and magnificent arches and domes, with a very impressive overall structure.
There are 6 abodes of Lord Muruga, and the Tirupparamkunram temple in Thiruparankundram is one of those six temples. They are considered to be very divine and the area is not too crowded usually. One of the highlights of visiting this temple is getting to see the rock-cut passageway that leads to the sanctuary with 48 columns that have gorgeous carvings on them.
