The two famed rivers of Leh, Nubra and Shyok, converge in this particular valley.
- Shanti Stupa: The famous Shanti Stupa was constructed in 1991 by a Japanese Buddhist named Bhikshu Gyomo Nakamura. As a symbol of world peace and prosperity, Shanti Stupa was built to commemorate 2,500 years of Buddhist history. It is regarded as a popular Buddhist monument and religious place.
- Sangam: It is the confluence of the Rivers Zanskar and Indus. It is one of the best tourist destinations you will come across in Leh. A spectacular sight awaits those who visit Sangam.
- Pangong Lake: One of the top tourist attractions in Leh is Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake. Located 4,350 m above sea level, Pangong Tso is divided into five sub-lakes. The most remarkable aspect of Pangong Lake is that it occasionally changes colour.
