Milan International Airport
Milan is one of the most popular cities in Italy, and to get here, Malpensa Airport (MXP) is the main air hub that serves as the entry point from India and several other countries. - Linate Airport: Linate Airport is the third international airport of Milan, and one of the busiest airport in Italy. It is 22 kilometers from the heart of the city.
- Orio Al Serio Airport: Orio al Serio International Airport is in Orio al Serio. It is approximately 3.7 kilometers southeast of Bergamo and 45 kilometers north-east of Milan.

Terminal Information
- Malpensa Airport is at least 40 km away from Milan, but it has two terminals. The two terminals are easily accessible via a free shuttle that runs between them every 7 minutes. To get to Milan from Malpensa Airport, there are two train routes (the Malpensa Express and Trenitalia) connecting Terminal 1 to Milan’s city.
- Linate Airport features a three-story terminal building and supports only domestic flights from EU countries. Despite being closest to the city, the airport receives fewer international passengers. In terms of transport, to get to Milan from Linate Airport, there are local urban buses.
- Orio Al Serio Airport is a smaller airport, in comparison, and has one terminal. Low-cost airlines arrive and depart from its terminal. The Terravision bus is another mode of transport from Orio al Serio Airport to Milan.

Visa and Immigration
You will require a visa to travel to Italy from India. Since Italy is a member of the European Union (EU), you will require a Schengen visa. Make sure that your passport is valid for a minimum of three months and that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of your Italian trip.
Tourists are permitted to stay for up to 90 days from the date of entry, which is a short stay. If your stay exceeds 90 days, you will need to apply for a long-stay visa. Multiple-entry visas for Italy are also available for those who travel regularly to the EU.
