What is Shirdi best known for?
Shirdi is one of the major important Hindu pilgrimage place which is visited by millions of people every year. Sai Baba always taught the "realization of self" and how to keep yourself unattached with perishable worldly things. Shirdi was home to Sai Baba the teachings of whom were always focussed on the love for humanity, charity, inner peace, and devotion to God.
There is an ornate Italian marble statue of Sai Baba in the Sai Samadhi Mandir, which is graced with royal cloth, fresh garlands, and gold crown. The other name famous for Shirdi is Sainagar in the state of Maharashtra. One of the richest temple organisations Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust is being maintained in Shirdi. "Sabka Malik Ek" is one of his epigram which is well known and is associated with the Hindu religion and Islam as well.

- Dwarkamai - It is a holy place that exhibits lots of positive energy. Dwarkamai is full of prayers, beliefs, and blessings. The place is very peaceful, well managed, and a good experience for the devotees.
- Lendi Garden - There is a very beautiful garden in the Samadhi Mandir of Sai Baba in Shirdi. The place is quite pleasant with lovely flowers and greenery around, where visitors spend time with family and friends after the Darshan.
- Samadhi Mandir - The temple is built with white marble. It was constructed by a millionaire devotee of Sai Baba from Nagpur.
- Gurusthan - The meaning of Gurusthan is the seat of the Guru. It is a belief that lighting incense sticks at this place will cure the devotees of all ailments. It has a shrine on which Sai baba's portrait is placed with a Shivalingam and the Nandi bull right in front of it.
- Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple - This temple is one of the most visited shrines of India. The temple is built in the centre of the village area. It is believed that Sai Baba was blessed with unprecedented powers, and so people worship him as God’s incarnation in the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple.
- Shani Shingnapur - This is quite an interesting village place that is visited by the tourists coming to Shirdi. People of the village believe that their Lord Shaneshwar is always protecting, hence they don't have doors in their houses or shops.
- Wet N Joy Waterpark - It has many fun and enjoyable rides which can be enjoyed by adults and children too. This waterpark is a respite from hot weather and a fun way to spend time with family and friends. The water park is located about 5 kms away from Shirdi.
- Dixit Wada Museum - This museum is located in the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan. The museum displays his padukas, long robes, smoking pipe, cooking utensils, and other belongings of Sai Baba.
